We loved our weekend get-away to celebrate our 25th+ wedding anniversary! Great room, great breakfast, and overall a very memorable two days away from the city to enjoy quiet and nature and a lot of strolling through the woods. Thank you! We will be back:)

Breathtaking view from the suite. It's a scenic hike from the ferry if you choose to walk. A great location to explore the many trails on Mt Gardener. The room was clean and spacious. There is a lot of thought put into the breakfast! Its presentation was wonderful with all local ingredients, it was delicious. Thanks Heidi for a great...

This is a piece of paradise a short ferry ride away from Vancouver. I have stayed in the Fox Glove room a couple of times and it is so luxurious: big fluffy white pillows and duvet, giant soaker tub, elegant heated polished concrete floors, gorgeous west coast inspired artwork, couple's lounger chairs outside. It's elegance in a beautiful country setting...

My hubby & I often encounter problems finding a suitable B&B that has no chemicals being used, isn't clean enough, doesn't take small dogs and so on...well we have just found the most perfect B&B. Super clean, no fragrances, the layout was perfect, spacious, efficient, a wonderful hiking trail outside our door, kind and generous hosts that don't intrude they...

I stayed at the fox glove room for a day and I have to say everything was beyond my expectation! I read all the reviews in the trip advisor, and have read every details on the website, yet the real experience at the place exceeded my anticipation--it was all too good! Bowen island hideaway will remain as a place that...

So glad you enjoyed your stay here and that we meet or exceeded your expectations. We are in the middle of installing our new Solar Heat System by SunPump a company based on Vancouver island. It is currently using the Sun's energy to heat our floors and domestic hot water but is requiring some fine tuning. Hence the drilling you...

if your looking for a place to get away for a relaxing break that's not to far from the city then this is it, very cosy modern feel with big windows that look out onto the lake that's just a few minutes walk away, we found the place so comfortable we found it very hard to actually go and explore...

Hi, I rarely write any reviews but I really thought Bowen Island Hideaway deserved one. First of all its a beautiful house set in a quiet and peaceful location. Its so close to the mainland and the city but it seems like a world away. Perfect for a quick break from everything. My girlfriend and I stayed just the one...

Thanks for staying with us. I am happy to do one night stays on weekends, with a small $20 surcharge to help with the extra cleaning needed. Yes it was so peaceful when it snowed here. Great day for a walk and a hot tub. We are lucky on Bowen to have some nice restaurants like Tuscany and Rustique, so...

Service and breakfasts were top notch- amazingly delicious food, service was professional and friendly. Would go again just for that. Driveway is a little tricky especially at night but not impossible. Loved the hot tub and heated floors. Bowen is a beautiful island, highly recommend checking it out.

My first time at that B & B. It is a little hard to get to, especially if you arrive at night and in the rain. But once found it is a beautiful place. The Fiddlehead room is large and everything is very accommodating. Enjoyed to be able to have fruit tea in the room. Lovely view. Excellent value for...

This was our second trip to this lovely Hideaway, and was just as lovely as last time. Not a single thing to complain about, the location is amazing, hillside and remote feeling while being very close to the lovely walk around Killarney lake, and a short drive into the cove for food. Breakfast is incredible, every meal Ive had at...

“The fiddle head room is smaller but definitely big enough for a couple. The fox glove room is a bit larger with the jacuzzi soaker tub. Both nice so really can't go wrong either way.”

“we were there to relax and stay unplugged!! wifi is availabe but that was of no interest to us. there are two suites which are equally perfect. Stylish, clean, thoughtful...non toxic body products, lovely linens, bath robes, the floor layout and furniture pieces were perfect. Concrete slab heated floors, upgraded plumbing fixtures. A perfect hideaway getaway! Good rates. Great people))”

“Drive slowly after you turn into fernie road. There are few potholes like Heidi have mentioned in her website. I drive a regular VW sedan and did not have any problem reaching to the place (I drove at ~20km/h).”
