Wonderful visit at On The Sea! I couldn't believe that the views in the photos are actually what you get from your patio. We just sat for hours in front of the ocean talking, reading, and sipping wine (and spotting deer). We didn't want to leave to see the island, we were glad we had. Ann and John were incredibly... We didn't get off to the right start, when John contacted us to request a bank transfer (which not being from Canada we are unable to do), as I was expecting that the credit card I used on Expedia was enough for the deposit. We gave him a US check, which seemed to work. However, once we were there, John... More

This place was everything and more one could ever want to stay at on Bowen. Wish I knew about this place before but happy I know that it exists for our future visits to Bowen Island. This is a beautiful location with two suites overlooking the channel between Horseshoe Bay and Bowen Island. Ann and Ken are gracious hosts. Be sure and try Eggs Bene for breakfast. The best ever. We loved Bowen and the hiking is great. Spent hours driving the many roads and exploring the various views and houses. Great sea kayaking vendor on... More

Peerless views, excellent breakfasts, warm hosts, ocean sounds. Fave, omelettes with boursin. Watching the sailboats and ferries is mesmerizing. Very quiet. Visited the same place under previous owner 19 years ago and it's kept the same spirit and is even better now!

Perfect location that is close to snug cove, but totally private piece of land that offers the most incredible and full view of the ocean. We really did see a bald eagle, whales and plenty of seals playing about! Anne and Kim sense their guests needs and provided beautiful breakfasts with directions and every other details one might need to... More

What a glorious place. Great food, great hosts! We had a whale off our balcony the last night. Seals playing in the ocean daily. This is a must visit B&B! Breakfast on the gazebo having breakfast and watching the ocean a very fine experience. Anne and Kim go out of their way to make the experience memorable.

Anne and Kim are great hosts! Our room was very clean, modern and just the perfect size for our stay. The breakfast we received every morning was wonderful. The best smoothie's around. Snug Island was very close, where you can catch the ferry to Vancouver or just stay and explore Bowen Island for the day. They had some breathtaking views.... More

First of all, the location is perfect, as it is a few minutes drive from Snug Cove, and right on the ocean! The view is breathtaking, and there is a large deck on which you can enjoy the view. The deck is shared, as it is the entry point for both rooms. We stayed in the French Riviera room, which... More

On The Sea B&B is fantastic and Kim and Anne are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the French Riviera room which was well-appointed, VERY clean, with a modern bathroom, comfortable bed and nice linens. It was hot during our stay but the A/C kept the room cool. There's a large deck outside the room where you can sit and relax.... More

“The French Riviera room is a little more private as it is the furthest from the entrance to the deck (so you don't have people walking past your door). IMO the décor is more romantic as well, both are very well appointed however!”

“Both rooms are situated front and centre view of the ocean. We did not see the inside of the far room, but ours was wonderful. The far room has a larger deck, however, our deck was great.”
