I was there for a ladies retreat weekend and albeit the grounds are very nice and the cabins are great, I was disgusted to read that I had to put the used toilet paper in a garbage beside the toilet, regardless of what I did in there. I find that quite disgusting and unclean!!! Plus, we had to search the...

Dear Sandi, Here at the lodge we try to make sure that guests have the best stay possible, and we are sorry to hear that your stay at the lodge was not what you had hoped for. The lodge has been running for several years now, and thus far we have never had a dissatisfied customer. Since we are located...

This is an excellent lodge for a family retreat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, ample space to gather all together and also space to get away on your own to refresh. There is a young couple on-site managing the day-to-day operations who were helpful but not at all invasive. We were left to our own devices for...

We stayed at Folk Tree Lodge to celebrate a birthday with friends and family. Both the upstairs of the main lodge, and the one bedroom apartment downstairs were ours for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we could need, and the open dining/cooking area is where we seems to congregate as the weather did not co-operate for some of our...

Natural log lhand-built construction, excellent service, wonderful ambiance. I stayed six days at Folk Tree Lodge, immediately after the new management team took over. I know the Bragg Creek area very well but had never heard of this beautiful property. The grounds are immaculate and offer lots of hiking trails, a big campfire circle and plenty of area for quiet...

We booked the upper beaver house for a girl's weekend and had a wonderful time. Paola, the owner, was very accommodating and friendly. The lodge is fully equipped with all of the kitchen supplies you will need to host any group. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are very peaceful. We had the bad luck of booking the...

We had "our family Christmas" in this cabin Dec 20-22, 2013 for 7 adults, this was the gift we chose for our family rather than purchasing gifts. It was the best choice we've ever made, a truly wonderful week-end.

We felt right at home staying at the beautiful Beaver House at Folk Tree Lodge. A simply stunning log cabin located a short distance from Bragg Creek, perfect for our family of nine! The cabin is stunning, it exudes a rustic feel with beautiful upgrades, a fully functional kitchen, and lots of space for the kids to run around. Paola...

A group of women recently attended a retreat at the Folk Tree Lodge and we absolutely LOVED our accomodation and gorgeous surroundings! The beautiful ambience of the lodges with all the lovely hand carved beds, art work and even the dining room table...all created by Master Craftsman, Alvise (one of the owners), added to our wonderful experience during the retreat!...

My sister chose this as a place to celebrate my 50th birthday. There were 16 of us altogether, and we rented three units - Big Beaver House (three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen), Little Beaver House (one bedroom, one bathroom, smaller kitchen) and the Wolf Den (one room with two sets of bunkbeds, no bathroom). We couldn't believe our eyes...

Thanks so much to Paola and Alvise for three wonderful nights in Deer House at Folk Tree Lodge. No detail is neglected and we changed our plans to stay an extra night partly because we did not want to leave. Comfy beds, cozy fire, beautiful sunroom for yoga or just to enjoy breakfast surrounded by trees and grazing horses! We...

“Big Beaver House is perfect for a large group. All 16 of us spent most of our time in that unit (although we slept in three units) and didn't feel we were tripping over each other. The only thing we had trouble with was getting hot water in the shower - we had to turn up the hot water heater. It would have been nice to have an indoor fireplace (I think one of the other cabins does but ours didn't), but the outdoor firepit was great and there was plenty of wood.”

“The Deer lodge is cozy though dark in comparison to Beaver Lodge (where we might stay next time). All rooms are equally comfy and beautifully decorated. Especially loved the individual Ikea reading lamps and the cozy little upstairs mandala room. Kids would love this too. Great place for a family reunion.”
