I really enjoyed my stay at the Old Bank House! Linda graciously accepted my reservation request with one day of notice and a late arrival after 8pm as I had a lot of driving that day (Ullapool to Applecross via Bealach Na Ba to Old Deer). Needless to say I was tired, coming down with a cold and looking for...

We were visiting relatives in the area and needed an option for 2 adults and 2 kids Stayed here in July and enjoyed the 4 days - The rooms are large and the facilities spotlessly clean and efficiently run. The breakfast is a real highlight - food is fab. Some of the big boy hotels could learn a thing or...

An excellent place to stay, especially if you enjoy a place with character. We were not disappointed. Old Deer is a good spot to stay when touring the area. As others have noted, friendly owner, all the mod cons in a traditional setting.

Stayed here last week whilst working at Peterhead power station and it is sometimes difficult to find a great place to stay after work, but this is one of those places where i struck gold. I was made to feel very welcome, the room was of a generous size and the breakfast was fabulous. I will definitely choose to stay...

This is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed at. It combines a perfect blend of traditional fittings with all the comfort and convenience expected by the modern traveller. The landlady, Linda, could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Breakfast was substantial and appetising and served in a charmingly decorated room that also served as the guests' lounge....

A wonderful and very welcoming B&B in a very quiet and pretty location. Very impressive building and beautifully furnished in keeping with it's 1860's style with of course modern amenities too. Breakfast was also a big plus, would definitely recommend to others and return again but this time for a longer stay. The walks and surrounding countryside are just perfection....

Very good B&B in a quiet village. The house was the Bank Managers house as well as the bank. Large rooms and unique 'Large Doors' Nice and central for this part of Aberdeenshire, and I'll certainly use it again.

We had 2 nights at Old Bank House and they were absolutely splendid. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious and beautifully clean and well decorated. We very much appreciated the heater and heated blanket as the weather was a little cool. The breakfast was probably the best ever - local produce and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much...
