This is primarily a fishing lodge, however, it does welcome guests who aren't here for the fishing. The lodge is about 40 kms south of Haines Junction on a wide well surfaced bitumen road. It is set off amongst the trees and the lake. It is the welcome and the hospitality that stands out. The family that operate the lodge... More

What a beautiful place. Lovely cabins, great food and fantastic activities. We had only one full day and no idea what to do. A day's fishing on Mush Lake with a guide was suggested (we had never been fishing before) and wow....were we glad we said yes. Caught our own fish for lunch which Marek, the guide, cooked. We saw... The lodge owners, Hardy and Trix Ruf are spectacular! From the moment you arrive they'll never forget your name. The fishing options are plentiful, the food, with two chefs sharing duties, is phenomenal and the rooms and setting are terrific. You've got the option of fishing for multiple species of fish (Lake trout, northern pike, arctic grayling, rainbow trout and... More

Our party of three enjoyed 8 days at this lodge, and loved it. The owners obviously have developed a top notch group of guides. We really appreciated the efficient organization, and the small touches such as a daily cooler provided with a label indicating our guide for the day (if applicable), vehicle and destination. In this lodge, big breakfasts are... More

This is a marvelous fishing destination lodge, with so many waters near by to fish, any many species to fish for, you could stay a month. Not only is the fishing first class, the lodge staff, chef, wait staff and guides are top notch. A very comfortable rustic lodge is the base for many activities, not only is there fishing,... More

We flew into Whitehorse, YT, with only 4 gates and 2 baggage claims, it is very easy to get around. We were greated by one of the owners, Jackie. She grabbed luggage and loaded us right away. We were at the lodge in about 1.5 hours. It is right off the Alaskan Highway, so it is a smooth easy drive... More

Trix, one of the owners greeted us and showed us the last room they had available. Usually they only take reservations in advance as they are a fully functioning fishing lodge with professional... My husband and I booked into the Dalton Trail Lodge for two nights to hike in Kluane National Park. The owners and staff were so helpful. Everything possible is done to accomodate needs of guests. Most were there for fishing but the owners helped us choose the right trails. The big surprise was the fabulous gourmet food! Deep fried camembert,... More
