In the first week of May, two friends and I did an impromptu visit to Ucluelet. The Elephant Cottage was available so we stayed two nights. Let me tell you, we couldn't believe how lucky we were to have this lovely cabin which was better than some hotels I've stayed at. It was complete with: cute kitchen, sitting area/living space...

No-frills hostel with comfortable beds and clean sheets. Typical hostel mainstays available, such as kitchen and recreation area. There is also a small patio. Price is reasonable. We arrived late but the owner left word for us, so we were able to get in without any hassle. Only complaint is the bathroom, which can only accommodate one person at a...

Six of us had booked both sides of Cedar Loft Suites for a two night getaway, however had to change the booking two weeks in advance due to a medical appointment. Nicole, the owner, booked us into Elephant Cottage as a replacement due to non-availability of the former. My bad in that I didn't look at the photos so when...

I stayed six nights in the hostel (dorm room) and enjoyed it a lot. Max and Stevie are very helpful and the rooms and the kitchen are nice and clean. Ucluelet itself is very laid back and has a beautiful small walk around the lighthouse. Check it out!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Kiwi Cottage, run by Surfs Inn Guesthouse in Ucluelet. It was a fantastic apartment that's located in a really convenient location to walk anywhere in Ucluelet. It's also only about a 30min drive from most things in Tofino. The apartment was clean and clearly well managed. There's a small kitchenette set-up with a...

Not the biggest of rooms but still good for a family for a few days. Clean and has everything for your stay. Looks as though the rooms have recently been refurbished. Located near the center but the area around the cabins is quite small. Not a lot of room once you have managed to get your car in, for some...

We stayed at the Kiwi Cottage for 3 nights and loved it. This is a bit off the main property but an easy walk to town. I forget her name but the lady at check in from Montreal was really great. She gave us everything we needed and even suggested a couple of places to go for a beer later....

Great place to stay. We stayed in Elephant Cottage with our 2 girls - easy walking from shops but seems completely secluded, lovely rainforest, staff very welcoming. Cottage is small but beautifully formed with everything we needed, very cute and quirky. Good kayaking in Ucluelet with Majestic Kayaking, loads of bald eagles. Would love to have had more time. On...

“The suite nearest the lodge had an outdoor light at night that lit up our friends' suite - almost too bright to sleep per the husband. The 2 bedroom cottage looked great and we may have enjoyed sharing that cabin better than the suites. The loft bed is pretty high up a narrow ladder - not for small children or seniors for certain ;^)”
