We spent 3 nights at the Ukee Treehouse B&B and felt welcome from the first minute. Not only are the hosts expectionally friendly and helpful, they also serve a delicious breakfast every morning - and sometimes cookies or cake in the afternoon ;) We booked a standard room but were upgraded to the upper floor, a big room which we had entirely for ourselves. The decoration and equipment, bathroom, bed etc. were not only outstanding in quality, but also in design. And the views...man, from the balcony you can watch eagles and deer in the morning, sometimes even black bears. Ukee Treehouse B&B was definitely our best stay in Canada if not the best we've ever been to.

Ukee Tree House advertises that it has extensive views and it certainly has not exaggerated. The views are not the only superb element. The hosts are so friendly and helpful that it feels as if you are staying with family. The breakfasts are delicious, unique and set you up for the day. The location is excellent giving a perfect spring board for visiting the highlights of the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The house itself is full of interest and everything is finished to the highest possible quality. To make our stay unbelievably perfect we regularly watched bald eagles soaring and even saw a black bear from our bedroom window. Truly an amazing experience and worth every penny.

The Ukee Treehouse is one of those finds that you would like to keep for yourself just to make sure that it will be available the next time you want to stay there. But let's be honest, we won't be able to stay there all the time and these extremely nice people deserve all the praise they can get. Everything you look for in a B&B is present here: - Beautiful location - Warm hosts (with equally friendly pets) - A bed so comfy you will only manage to leave it for the magnificent view or the smells of an excellent breakfast (with storytelling) - Interesting tree-based house design We treated ourselves to the penthouse for three nights and what a treat it was! I can only recommend staying here, it's worth every single penny. Just don't book it when we have a chance to go back :)

We stayed at this B&B in August on our first trip to Canada. We have traveled extensively but have have never stayed at such a beautiful B&B or home in our lives. It is absolutely exquisitely decorated and is immaculately clean. What a lovely place and lovely people! The area is gorgeous for hiking and biking. A very enjoyable stay indeed! Thank you for the freshly made breakfasts and the friendly conversation. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lisa Lappin and Guillermo Aznar

We spent five glorious days at the Ukee Treehouse in one of the double rooms on the second floor. It was spacious, really comfortable and well decorated. But what we enjoyed the most was the exceptional west coast design of the Treehouse and our wonderful hosts. The treehouse itself is amazing, as you can enjoy a glass of wine on a deck off the dining room, literally in a huge old cedar tree looking out over Ucluelet or enjoying the masses of stars. The decor of the B & B is exceptional with unique touches like two large polished yellow cedar tree trunks as support posts in the living room, and artful driftwood headboards in the bedrooms. There are so many wonderful west coast touches to enchant you at every turn. The B & B is located on the doorstep of the Wild Pacific Trail with the most outstanding Pacific views and forest. Daryl and Cynthia were warm and charming hosts who took a genuine interest in helping us get the most out of our visit to the area. And Cynthia's breakfasts were awesome! Each day she delighted us with terrific fare. We would not hesitate to recommend Ukee Treehouse to anyone visiting the area or looking for a unique and enjoyable holiday experience. We while definitely return!

We spent a week in the Penthouse suite, and were sad to leave. The luxurious king bed, with its twisted tree truck headboard and plush duvet, held us in its warm embrace until the delicious odors wafting up from the kitchen drew us down the wide, two-tone wooden staircase, with its unique twisted iron railing, to enjoy another of Cynthia's gourmet breakfasts; home-made waffles, fluffy blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with crispy bacon, fresh fruit salad, freshly-baked muffins and bread, were just a few of the culinary delights we feasted on. Afterwards, we headed back upstairs, where a comfy sofa, reclining easy chair, and deluxe triple-head shower invited us to linger before heading out for a day of hiking, beachcombing, or shopping for books and souvenirs. The Ukee Treehouse B&B is a unique and special place, furnished in elegant and comfortable style, filled with a beautiful eclectic collection of art and artifacts, from surfboards to peacock-feather masks to original artworks, run by a truly caring family.

Hands down an excellent experience. We stayed in the penthouse which is well worth the upgrade. We had the entire place to ourselves and checked out the other two rooms which were also excellent and had plenty of room. Entire house and grounds is very well decorated and will see Something new every time you walk though. The view from the penthouse, treehouse, and main floor are all spectacular. View of a mountain and no shortage of wildlife. Our hosts, service, and breakfast all over the top. Ucluelet or Tofino will pick Ucluelet to every time and please check out the Ukee treehouse it is 5 stars all the way!!!

Ukee Treehouse B&B surpassed our wildest expectations!! Arriving late, we were greeted by Daryll and Kelli and showed to our beautiful room. We were on the first floor, sharing a bathroom however we had the facilities completely to ourselves for our entire 3 nigth stay (9th-12th Sept 13) as no-one was booked in at that time. The room was stunning and thought had gone into everyone little detail. We were showed around the entire house with the emphasis very much put on that it was our holiday and anything we needed we just had to ask. We had access to the entire downstairs, lounge, kitchen and outside balcony areas. Both evenings we went out for dinner, Daryll recommended two local restaurants Hanks and Norwoods which were amazing. The evening where I'd had too many ciders on their balcony we had a take away which they kindly helped us to order. Breakfast was home made each morning with fresh bread, muffins and fruit. You really coudln't ask for more. The emphasis at this B&B is to make it your home from home during your stay and everything Daryll and Kelli do is to improve your experience. We had to leave early on our final day and told the couple not to worry about breakfast but they still got up early and made us lovely toasted sandwiches for our journey. We had 3 weeks travelling around BCand Alberta and I can categorically say this was the most amazing accomodation that we stayed at. To anyone thinking of staying in Ucuelet, you MUST stay here as you will not stay in a more beautiful house, in an amazing location with such wonderful, friendly and down to eat hosts. Daryll and Kelli - we wish you all the success for the future. Mand and Colin

We were in Ucluelet for a 2-day kayak-surf course and really lucked out with staying at the Ukee Treehouse B&B. The early morning breakfasts of fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh muffins, bacon and french toast (with freshly baked bread) one morning - omelet another morning - was delicious and plentiful. It certainly helped fuel us for all the paddling, bracing, rolling and surfing we did during the day. We came back after an activity-intense day to find that Darryl had in fact prepared the sauna for us as he had offered to the day before, after hearing what we had in store for the day. This unique sauna has a very west coast theme - built with logs with a similar character to the Treehouse, heated by a wooden stove, contains large round stones that keep the heat, a fern that decided on its own the sauna made for good habitat, and a window with a view to the estuary. What a wonderful treat that was for our sore muscles! The Treehouse is charming and Darryl and Kelli are helpful and gracious hosts who take much care to enhance one's stay at the B&B and in Ucluelet. We are definitely coming back to Ucluelet - to do more kayak surfing at the incredible beaches this area has to offer, and most definitely to stay at the Treehouse.

The house is a spectacular piece of finely constructed artwork. It seems to invite nature inside with it's wide sweeping windows while you feel you're living in a "treehouse"; all the wood used is marvelous. And to think that it was the first house designed and constructed by the previous owner - Merlin Naylor. We took the room on the top floor with the ensuite. I'm so glad we did. It was a treat! Loved the shower and the open space of the whole room. We unfortunately did not spot any animals during our two days but we did get a very sleepy look at colours of the breaking dawn. Spectaular hues. Our hosts were wonderful. We briefly met Darryl on our arrival. He was very warm and welcoming. We did interact far more with Kelli and their very helpful co-hosts - their moms. Lovely ladies. The peanut butter choc chip cookies left every evening are very hard to resist. And a very thoughtful touch. I requested for a tea tray for my bed tea the first night. It was all ready (with extra cookies) the second night before I could request it again! Now, that is excellent service. Thank you Kelli! We were also late arriving so almost missed dinner. Kelli suggested Floathouse Patio & Grill. Bang on! The food was fab, the service exceptional and at the right place. The breakfast - well, the hot dish - was cooked right in front of you as you started with fresh fruit and your coffee/tea. It was made by mom - so it was home cooked "mom food" - delicious, nutritious and first rate! I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone who is visiting Ucluelet. And it is a repeat visit.
