Our camping spot had a great view, but the customer service leading up to our stay was non existent, I left messages several times without a response. We expected to use the showers, but they were disgusting ! After arrival the check in was absolutely not helpful with our general questions about the campground and nearby amenities. While there were a couple run down picnic tables our site did not have one and the fire pit was a hazard. I now understand why this was the only place available at our time of booking to stay at.

Very disappointed! This "resort" should not be in service! They are focused on their campground and not the motel rooms. They are run down, dirty and not pleasant. Definitely different than what is advertised on the Hotels.com site, and way overpriced! We had to leave one day early due to the conditions. Waste of money! If you have a mobility device the bathroom is not accessible. You cannot even get to it! Kitchenette is run down. $200 per night for a room that is worth $50.

Cheap rooms, clean, fully stocked kitchenette, quiet, digital cable and free wifi. The place is cheap. You get what you pay for. Good enough for a few nights between surfs. Central location. Perfect to split with friends for a quick surf weekend.

It was overpriced, filthy, an unsafe fire hazard. Coffee maker didn't work, blinds didn't work, windows could not be closed and locked, dog hair all over, never cleaned under the beds, around the toilet leaked and was covered in mold....really disgusting.

This very overpriced room was gross and regrettable... We found hair (you don’t want to know where it comes from...) on the bathroom floor and in the shower ! The smell was old and gross, and there were food crumbs all over the floor and the couch. We have come to the exact same conclusion as all of the other 1 star reviews : JUST DON’T DO IT !!!

Nice quiet room. Good bath/shower. Full kitchen with full size fridge. Had great view of eagle family in trees through back window. Walking distance to 3 or 4 restaurants. Close drive to all water activities.

This place is set up to prey on people that are stuck without a camp spot. Only one of the showers worked in a disgusting washroom, and they charge you $4 for 5 minutes of hot water in a coin operated system. There isn’t even garbage cans near the campsites. The grass is a foot high and the picnic tables are disintegrating.

I'm not sure when the last time any maintenance was done on this place, but it was a LONG time ago. It's falling apart. Peeling paint, a roof that has seen better days and general decay make this a "last resort" not a fishing resort. My room smelled musty and there was mold in the bathroom. All the metal fittings had rust on them. The bathroom mirror reflective backing was decaying and pulling away from the glass. But worse still, there was long hair (not mine, I might add) on the counter in the bathroom. The sink was stained green. And (yuk!) there was a blood stain in the shower. UTTERLY DISGUSTING! Also, someone had kicked a hole in the bathroom door. It had obviously been that way for some considerable time. All of this just goes to shaw what slobs the owners/management are. AS soon as I laiy down in the bed, my head started itching. Not sure if there was actually anything going on or I was just creaped-out bu this place and imagined things. In fairness, I had no problems after staying there. I'd rather stay in a tent. This place should be condemned and is not worth your hard-earned money. I've put below that this is a budget hotel only to describe it as low quality. At over $170/night, it is anything but "budget"! Outrageous! AVOID!

Was the only place that was not full on the long weekend so not much choice. The campsite I had did have a nice view but that was reallyabout it for the price I paid (180.00) for 4 nights to tent seemed a bit expensive I did have water and power but didn't want to use the power causeit was right next to the water tap. Washrooms were only cleaned once the whole time I was there thank goodness for shower shoes. Had laundry but only one machine working. No posted speed limits so people just sped right they with no caution for pedestrians. Overall for how much I paid even with the view I had not that worth it will stay somewhere else next time.

Animal droppings under the beds..old food crumbs everywhere...old tooth paste from previous customers on the bathroom counter...towels never changed unless you begged..beds never changed or made...smell of smoke embedded in the room. Truly not one good thing to say. Would not recommend this property to anyone!!!
