Great stay. Place was beautiful and Danielle and Mark thought of everything for their guests. We had a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a nice bear cash complete with cooler and various condiments/tea/coffe/espresso. The only draw back is the long gravel road leading to the place. It is only about a 30 min drive in the gravel road with a regular SUV. Danielle and Mark are very friendly and helpful too, quick to respond to any questions and requests.

Spent 4 nights in Seascape safari tent. We loved every minute of it. The location is beautiful, peaceful and magical. We're a family of 4 and we spent the days reading in hammock, exploring tide pools, watching bald eagles and walking on the beach. Mark and Danielle are wonderful hosts. We will definitely return!

We got the recommendation of this gem by a friend and booked a 5 day stay at So Damn Lucky Glamping. We are a young family with two little boys. We stayed in the Rainforest Tent, which was beautifully decorated and equipped. very clean. We had great stay, it feels more like a cabin rather than a tent. Its very charming and roomy. Living right at the beach is so special. Its also remote from the usual locations but still very quick to get to Ucuelet and Tofino. We spend a couple of days with the kids at long beach playing and watching the surfers. Danielle and Mark are amazing hosts super friendly and helpful.

At first we were concerned that your sons were a little young for the ruggedness of Mussel Beach. But you played and explored - something we love to see! Thank you for coming out! It was lovely meeting you.

My other half and I first came here in 2019 and have come every year since, our latest stay being September 2021. Absolutely beautiful location and the hosts Danielle and Mark are wonderful. The only thing you need to bring is food and drink.

We spent 4 nights at So Damn Lucky! And we feel So Damn Lucky to of found this gem of a place! The experience is truly like no other! Danielle and Mark are just awesome and make sure you have everything you need! Just show up with food and drinks and be ready to truly unplug! Going to sleep with the little crackle of the wood burning stove and the sound of the water and nature was so peaceful and cozy! Naps in a hammock just off the ocean was pretty cool! We can’t wait to go back! It really was a unplug and reset for us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spent four nights at this excellent site. Our large tent was well appointed with a comfortable bed and futon, w nicely considered outdoor kitchen with all you need to make your meals. It’s pretty much turn key (zipper?) with a cooler (including cold packs!) etc. Everything was there to show up and enjoy. The best part is the view, steps from the beautifully sheltered cove, the site was a perfect base to explore the coast, kayak and paddle board (they loaned these too!). The only two things to be aware of (as the hosts will tell you), are 1. This is 20 minutes down a dusty bumpy gravel road, so you likely won’t want to come/go every day. That’s the point, unplug, unwind, read that book, play with your kids, and relax! 2. There is wildlife including bears so you need to be vigilant about cleaning and storing everything in a bear box (provided). We (sadly) did not see bears but one was around during our visit. A great spot, we’d definitely go back!

Thank you for pointing out the necessity of being wildlife aware. We are very diligent when it comes to helping our guests stay bear aware - they are wonderful to observe from a distance. We’re happy you had a good time. Thanks for the great review!

We stayed at the forest trailer hosted by danielle and mark for a weekend getaway and they out preformed all of our expectations and more. From the cute welcome they left us on the fridge to how warm and friendly they were with us, this stay has been an absolute joy. The trailer had all the ammenties we needed, we even forgot bug spray and they thoughtfully had some in the trailer amongst other common camping items. The camping chairs they had also came in super handy because we forgot to bring ours. Highly reccomend this stay to anyone looking for a getaway from busy life. Mark and danielle are very easy to talk with and very accomadating to their guests needs. Time goes by so slow and peaceful here!

Thanks for booking Forest last year - it was an unexpected add on to our group. We have now carved out a wonderful waterfront site for Forest - newly renovated and renamed Yogi! Check him out in our website! Hopefully we’ll see you again this year!

My partner and I just stayed in Wildflower glamping tent at Mussel Beach and it was such an incredibly unique experience. The tent was gorgeous and equipped with everything I could think of and then some. We took our hosts’ advice and started a fire in the wood stove every night an hour before going to bed. They recommended we pull the blankets open on our bed to warm it up and it was so cozy to crawl into! The candles created a wonderful atmosphere. The kitchen was also stocked and easy to use. They have a bear cache to keep all your food in that is completely bear safe. During the day we explored the beach as far as we could walk and read books in the hammock. Perfect vacation. Thank you Danielle and Mark!
