We really enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge. The suite was huge and the two bedrooms on 2 separate floors allowed us parents and children to have a little more privacy. The view from our dining room overlooking the harbor was breathtaking. However, the price of the suite at $750 per night was a bit expensive considering that some of the facilities were completely unusable (walkway and gazebo) and that the hotel was difficult to reach on foot from other attractions in Ucluelet.

A really picturesque and relaxing spot with incredible views. Fell asleep to the sound of sea lions outside! Would highly recommend. Apartments are spacious, spotless and well provided with amenities.

With a Jacuzzi on the balcony, a view over the water, neat nice bathrooms and a fireplace in the living room this location is so much more than we expected! It is spacious, clean and even coffee and tea are provided. Beach towels can be picked up at the reception, parking is possible in front of the door and the wifi is excellent. We enjoyed ourselves here!

This was a clean comfortable stay with everything we needed… A peaceful beautiful view of the harbour, well stocked kitchen, gas fireplace for cozy evenings in and a bonus visit by dolphins in the bay. A bonus was the heated tile floor in the bathroom. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Super cool apartment with a great view. Apartment is super nice and fully equipped. There is a lovely balcony overlooking the water. Great to see the sun rise here. The only disadvantage are the stairs to get to the apartment, but the apartment and the view more than make up for it. Coffee and tea are available, as are dishwasher cubes and cleaning supplies. Absolutely great!

We stayed in this charming property for three nights in a King Suite. The structure is located on a promontory between the bay and the small port. The rooms are located in two-story buildings. In particular, our suite was on the first floor. As soon as you entered, another flight of stairs led to the large living room with open kitchen. Beautiful windows overlooking the port and French windows to access a small balcony. Bedroom with King size double bed and walk-in wardrobe. Nice bathroom with double entrance: from the living room and from the bedroom. Our son's bed was made in the living room thanks to a comfortable sofa bed. In your room, after trips to spot bears, whales, sea otters etc., you can relax by spotting eagles, herons or intrepid fur seals exploring the port. If you don't want to use the kitchen, we recommend the Blue Room for breakfast, the Floathouse Restaurant (they don't accept reservations and is very popular and evocative) and the Black Rock restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have been coming up to Water’s Edge for years now. It is our New Year’s tradition and restores my sanity every year after a tough year in health care. Our favourite part about the suites is the view of the ocean, hearing the sea lions and sitting in the outdoor tub listening to the ocean, seeing and hearing the birds and the overall quietness and peacefulness of this place. Instead, we were told that the room we were supposed to be put in had an issue and we were now on the marina side. So instead of all the things I love about this place, I got a view of a parking lot (literally am starting at it right now) and the town buildings. Oh I see some boats too, but ocean view? Non existent. I got to hear the garbage truck back of beeping, the cars driving, the person doing construction across the way while attempting to enjoy my coffee in the tub this morning. Lots of lights in the evening, including headlights. We were on the top floor with no cover over the tub…it’s Ucluelet…it rains here! Not enjoyable. It may seem like first world problems but for me this trip restores my soul, this all left me in tears. We also are paying the same price as the other side of the complex, how is that even fair? Almost $900 for a view of a parking lot is NOT acceptable. Overall the place needs a refresh, the cupboards and furniture are heavily showing their wear. Our toilet seat was broken (but was immediately fixed, thank you!). The front end staff was wonderful, and once the sun went down and I wasn’t reminded of the view I didn’t have, we still enjoyed ourselves. The location is great, the kitchen amenities are what you require, although sparse. If I can’t guarantee I will have the ocean view side next time, I won’t be back and that makes me very sad.

The rooms in this property are truly beautiful and spacious, with a huge kitchen, views of the bay, and an outdoor hot tub. I would therefore say a positive opinion with some however. Cleaning done only at the beginning, then the rooms are not made up, not even the towels changed, you even have to throw away the garbage, at the price of a hotel... The bathroom is small and not brand new. The sofa bed is a cot. So great potential that could be maintained much better

The complex is very well located. We found the accommodation very large and loved the large windows, as well as the fireplace and well-equipped kitchen. It was also very clean, with several towels and pillows available for us. However, our accommodation had a damp smell, which was very unpleasant. Our bath on the balcony did not work even though we had rented this location particularly for the bath. Be careful when booking to reserve the view you want, as we booked on the port side thinking we were booking on the ocean side due to the photos (this was our mistake). We had a lovely stay despite everything!

We were so pleased with our choice. Since the complex is on a small island, all rooms have a view over the water. It is a delightful spot and the apartments are very good. They have fully equipped kitchens for you do make breakfast or prepare an evening meal. As for location, you can wander into town for a meal or use the good on-site restaurant. There is plenty to do around, with some really good local coastal walks.

Hello, the tub and deck are simple. You have wooden deck with tub on many (but not all) suites, all facing the water. The tub accommodates two adults with faucet and pull-away showerhead. There are no jets as you'd expect from a jacuzzi. It is a tub on the balcony and you may need to clean some debris prior to stepping in to use. There is reasonable visual privacy from neighbours beside.
For some ground floor suites, there is a privacy barrier of shrubs; therefore, some views of the inlet are expected to be obstructed.
