Beautiful campsites, but not what we expected. It felt more like backcountry camping than a resort. Do not expect the customer service or amenities of other popular campgrounds - the campsites are a long way from the check in office, down an extremely narrow potholey road. We wanted to go out and hike and see other attractions in the area...

Wya Point must make some general changes in advertising luxury camping. We booked a small yurt and the day we arrived we were considered to be a "late arrival" even though the office supposed to be open till 5pm. We arrived at 4:45pm. After finding our yurt, we noticed that the yurt wasn't prepared for our arrival (all gas turned...

Wya Point must make some changes to their website. Although it states that it is a full-service campground, there are no amenities. No toilets, no drinking water, no showers. I am an experienced camper so I know how to get around this but families will have some challenges, especially if they are staying at the walk in sites. The staff...

Hello VancouverAlphalima, Thank you for the feedback, and for sharing your concerns with our campground. I'm sorry if our website is misleading regarding the campground, we have never offered full service down on site. Our serviced RV sites are located directly on the highway across from the Pacific Rim Visitor Center. Our campsites down on the beach have never offered...

For 14 years, the same place had been the "best place we've ever stayed at" (Baker Creek Chalets near Lake Louise, AB), but now, Wya Point in Ucluelet, BC has taken the crown! We stayed 4 nights in "lodge" #5, which is one of the fully self-contained chalets on Ucluth Beach. The chalet is really spacious, really clean (even on...

The most beautiful cabin that I have ever stayed in! You get to sleep facing your own private beach while listening to the crashing waves, you're right in there with nature. I would give it 5 stars however I had just one issue. The fireplace in my cabin would not turn on and reception would not answer when I tried...

Everything was fabulous! We spent four nights at the Wya Point lodge in February. The lodge was stunning and the ocean views, breathtaking. The resort is situated on its own private beach, so you can take the short trail and explore at any time of the day. At night we heard wolves howling and by day eagles and ravens calling...

We arrived on March 1...tongue in cheek wondering what we would find. 10 minutes down a slightly rough road lies An Idyllic place...9 lodges all different sitting overlooking The Pacific. Come and see...well worth the trip. We had a wonderful 7 days roaming the beach...watching sea lions and seals...eagles ....the terrific breakers and so much more...We will return.

We camp here over the summer, amazing view, very private and quiet, unfortunately, the washroom at the campsite is not working and we have to use the washroom at the cottages which, was relatively far especially if it's raining like it did during our stay. They did put a portable toilet but by the time we arrived it was so...

Four adults, two bedroom beach view cabin. Fantastic woodsy location down a single track gravel road really made you feel 'out there'. Wifi was warned as spotty, but we had no problems with that. Great deal off season, the place looked great, had everything we needed to enjoy the environment. Loved the native sculpture of an orca in the living...

If all campsites were run as well as this one I would love it. This place is a model for respecting the natural beauty we go out to see. They ensure that no food is left out and are very serious about it. Coolers in your vehicle and no food on tables or say goodbye! This is great since it...
