A nice place to stay. Not a good choice if you require an Internet connection for work. The owner has total control of WiFi and shuts it down at night earlier and turns it on later in the mornings than stated "rules of conduct for the Internet". Steer clear if you require Internet. Television is very small as well.

If good value for your dollar is a prime requisite for your choice of accommodation, and you are looking for a place to overnight in Watson Lake, then this place is for you. My wife and I had the good fortune to stay at this B&B twice in September as we travelled to, and then from Inuvik, NWT. These two...

What a discovery! The Stampeder's B&B cabins provide a perfect break for those needing an overnight in Watson Lake. There are two identical cabins--each very spacious, extraordinarily clean and effectively laid out, with free wifi and satelite TV. Breakfast is served in a similarly well appointed dining room attached to the main house on the immaculately maintained property. Peter, the...

Watson lake is not a destination town, rather a stopping place on the Alaska highway. So we were pleasantly surprised with Stampeders. Clean comfy cabins, just off the highway, and charming hosts . Wye lake just behind and is a pleasant hours walk.

What a gem!! Peter was such a great host! My hubby and family were running late and he was checking in with me back in Michigan to let me know they hadn't made it yet. When they arrived he was more than helpful and they loved the room. Breakfast and the company in the morning was a refreshing change from...

If you are driving the Alaska Highway, Stampeder’s is one best lodging selections you can make. On our month-long dream road trip, we chose Stampeder’s based on TripAdvisor reviews and were more than pleased with our stay. The cabin was immaculately clean, modern, and well appointed. We could not have had a more comfortable stay. The continental breakfast was a...

Peter is absolutely the best host! When you drive by the Stampeder's sign and see the wording "lovely cabins," that's exactly what you'll get. My husband and I are repeat customers of Stampeder's because of the friendly and interesting conversation to be had with our host, the high quality and standards of our cabin (we always stay in the cabin...

The photos don't do the cabins justice. They are impeccably clean, care is taken to make them welcoming, the beds are super comfy, the hosts are amazing. There was absolutely no flaw to my experience except that I couldn't stay longer! Two thumbs up.

Very comfortable cabin for the four of us adults. Peter and his wife could not do enough for us. It was listed as a continental breakfast but they were there to serve us coffee, hot toast, tea and more....

Stampeder's B and B is not in a particularly auspicious surroundings, but everyone had reviewed it well and it matched our budget. We decided to give it a try and were SO impressed. The cabin was light, clean and well furnished. We had a fridge and microwave and the beds were very comfortable. We would certainly stay there again.
