We just returned from staying three nights in a cabin. We prefer to stay somewhere with a kitchen we go away (as opposed to squashed in a hotel room). This cabin came with a mini fridge/with tiny freezer component which kept our drinks and food more than cold enough. There were two oven burners, and a microwave. We didn't use either though as we brought a camping bbq and used that for all our meals.

We found there was not much storage for any snacks or food we brought as the shelves/cupboards are full of cups/plates, etc. There is also not much storage for clothing. In the "master bedroom" there are a few shelves though, but not enough for a family of 4.

The master bedroom is a bunkbed with a single on top and double on the bottom. There is a loft area, but my husband and I slept up there as we didn't trust our children as they can sleepwalk, and it is high up there! The couch is not very comfortable at all, but if you have your own camping chairs and the weather is nice you can just sit on the porch or outside.

The washroom was a huge perk, as we love camping but hate the middle of the night treks so the washroom. There is a shower, and the whole bathroom was very clean, although the shower curtain was a bit grungy.

You do have to bring your own towels and don't forget a hand towel for the washroom. I was told to bring a tea towel and dishcloth but there was one in the cabin. I was also told to bring hand soap for the washroom and dishsoap for the dishes, but there was also some provided in the cabin. Also I was told to bring grocery bags but there were some. I'm not sure if they were left over by a last guest or that is standard, but I would bring all of the above items, just in case. There was toilet paper but not paper towels.

There is no air conditioning and the cabin can get stuffy, but overnight it got cool so we slept with the windows open. There is heating if it gets cold.

It is a bit pricey $140 per night peak season, but hotel rooms in the area are similarly priced and we would much rather have a bit more space (kids get their own bed, etc), and have our own kitchenette.

The kids tried to play in the playground one evening but the bugs were CRAZY bad.

You also have a firepit if you want to have a campfire.

We would definitely return :)

We had a great time and also went to parc aquatique and acro nature and had a great time at both locations but will review those separately.

Room Tip: We were in Cabin 1 and it was a great location, not a lot of cabins nearby so was very quiet.

We stayed at Morin Heights for 3 nights and enjoyed what it had to offer. It was pretty neat to be sleeping in the mountains! The sites were small but enough room for our needs. They were private and quiet. The campground was very strict about their rules (8km max speed limit, quiet hours). Park supervisors were present around the campground. Showers and toilets were relatively clean for a campground and always stocked with soap and toilet paper.

The pool was far enough from the actual camping - we didn't realize it was at the bottom of the ski hill and not in the actual campground. The kids were disappointed on the one day when I wanted to go swimming but the pool was closed. They said the pool is closed due to the thunder storm risk. I realize after that The pool was supervised by lifeguard so they must've sent them home during the restroom and closed the pool. It ended up being a nice day and no thunder storms but the pool remained closed. We did get to swim the next day.

We would return if we were doing activities in this area again.

We asked the ticket sellers about the best trails for snowshoeing for our party of 4. They suggested a loop, taking trails #8/6/1. Good luck finding the start of #8. Then, there are totally inadequate signs to take a leftturn onto #6 ( Beech). Then we ended up on #8 to end the tour, and went onto a dead end. Hey- thats not fun!!! I noted many more Xcountry skiers and maybe they cater to them and not snowshoers, but their signage is inadequate, and its easy to get lost. The place is very pretty, and the trails skirt the river. We are experienced snowshoers, and are disappointed at this outing.

We rented this cabin for 2 nights during the off season. The cabin was nice and clean however we had no hot water during our stay and no one to contact about this problem as the front welcome centre was closed. When we checked out on the Friday the front welcome centre was open and we mentioned the problem however no compensation was ever offered. At the rate that we paid ($109/night) to rent this cabin it would have been nice to at least have some sort of compensation for the lack of hot water for three days. Not sure if I will stay there again...

This was a first camping experience for the family, and unfortunately, it wasn't very good. Despite the campground's rules of no music or cars after 10:30pm, our neighbours had their music blaring until 1am, and vehicles went by at all hours. It's also possible to walk to the pool, however it's pretty far, and would have been at least a 20 minute walk. It also closed really early, at 7pm.

We had tickets to the water park the next day, and the lack of sleep from the previous night didn't make for as great an experience as we would have liked. We were all exhausted.

I made a complaint in the morning at the front desk, and told them we would not be staying a second night as our experience had been quite mediocre. I asked for a refund and they refused. Not impressed, and I would never go back.

We rent a cabin for two nights on Xmas holiday's and this was just perfect for recharging after the xmas shopping and party ...etc.. the perfect spot to be close to nature and listen to the sound of silent.
No phone , no T.V , just quality time to spend with the kids.

will be back!

We try to make it here each year as a family trip. We love the atmosphere of this place with its cozy cabins, nature and appoximatey to attractions. The kids love picking rasberries which are around the cabins.

The cabins were clean and well equipped - as described. The cabins are located about a 10 minute drive from the Mont Saint Saver water park. You get a 20% discount on the waterpark tickets and ziplining tickets when you stay in the cabins. Would definitely return next summer.

My husband and I needed a hang out of city weekend and we choose to go to the sommet morin heights.

First time there stay in the cabin #3.
And we love it.

The place is super cozzy, I recommended for families with small kids or teens. The cabin was full equip, had a picnic table outside, a place for a fire outside and Air conditioner (This was a surprise).
We invite our family to pass by and it was amazing, saturday they play Mohana movie in the kids area of the camping and it give you an activity to do.

Staff are friendly and welcome, they have hikking path and a pool close by free for the camping visitors.

We were not bother by any animals and it is well located.

The parking in the cabin is very small only one car fit confortable but nothing that matter.

The cabin is pretty clean and simple.

We could definitly return.
