Overnight with daughter and son-in-law. A delightful get away in a historic home "hotel". Gracious hosts in a warm and inviting setting. The dining room is on the lower level and is cozy with great food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quite getaway in a typical old Ontario town.

The restaurant, which is located in the lower floor of the Merrill Inn is superb! There are not a lot of tables but they are spaced so that you have your own space. The chef, Michael Sullivan, is a savant! He was born to be a great chef! If you have a choice between different plates, there is always one...

As a birthday surprise, my partner treated me to a weekend in Prince Edward County. We stayed at the Merrill Inn in Picton. First of all it's no wonder that this Inn has been named one of the best in Ontario if not in Canada for the past several years. It is truly an amazing place! The Inn and grounds...

Very nice cozy inn. Close to many shops and restaurants. We were in room 103 on the main floor, which was very clean and comfortable. Nice soft towels and lovely bathrobes provided. That being said, the room is located above the kitchen and was extremely noisy during dinner hour and beyond...until just before midnight on our first night. What we...

I stayed at the Merrill Inn recently for the first time. The property is nice and, despite being old, is well kept. Having said that, I wouldn't stay there again. Simply put, it is overpriced for what you are getting. The Merrill Inn has basically no frills, other than breakfast being included. The rooms are certainly adequate but they are...

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. This historic building which houses the Merrill Inn is unlike "modern hotels. We choose not to have coffee makers in the rooms and other amenities that other hotels have, We instead choose to treat each guest with a personal touch, and therefore have a higher number of staff...

We booked a 2 night package that included 2 breakfasts, one dinner and a packed lunch. We were given a room on the ground floor. The room was a disappointment. Although it was well furnished and very clean, it was extremely small. We constantly bumped into each other and no matter where we put our suitcases, they were in the...

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. We apologize for the breakfast that you received, as that is not our standard, and we can assure you that this has been discussed with our staff. As you mentioned, this is an historic designated building, and the Restaurant which is on the lower level opens to a...

My mum-in-law and father-in-law treated my husband and I to a "minimoon" on the night of our wedding at the Merrill Inn. The Inn is right in the heart of Picton and close to shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Inn itself is well kept and very welcoming. We arrived quite late after our wedding (around 1:30am) and were greeted by...

We just stayed overnight at the Inn. All the staff we interacted with were very helpful, friendly and informative. We had dinner at the cozy dining room and the food was delicious! Breakfast was also quite good with a small buffet and your choice of a hot breakfast option. While the building is quaint the particular room that we stayed...

We decided to venture here for the Thanksgiving weekend and overall had a very pleasant stay. Our wine and dine package included two breakfasts, dinner, picnic lunch, and vouchers to sample wines at two local wineries. The restaurant located in the basement of the inn had plenty of charm and accommodated about 24 guests. It is definitely a five star...
