We recently completed a 2 week swing through Eastern Ontario. Of all the places we spent a night Hayes Inn was certainly the best. The room we occupied was well thought out, the bed was comfortable and air conditioning was not needed. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were helpful. In addition the Inn was the least expensive of all the places we spent a night during the trip. The Inn has been beautifully renovated and it was clearly a labour of love. I liked especially how the the very old painted walls in the living room have been preserved. If we visit Prince Edward County again the Hayes Inn would certainly be my first choice.

Loved the historical house. The house itself is very beautiful and well decorated. The view from the bedroom is green and quiet. It was very relaxing staying at the inn. The room was comfortable and it was sparkling clean. Owners are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. We loved our stay.

This was my second stay at Hayes Inn, and I can't wait to go back again. Katie and Mike make you feel so at home, and the breakfasts are sensational with locally sourced ingredients. And the freshly baked scones are irresistible! The Inn is beautifully restored and maintained, our room spotless and comfortable. Everything we want in a quiet getaway!

We booked four nights at Hayes Inn for our Prince Edward County getaway this August. Our sojourn was beyond our expectations. Mike and Katie are welcoming innkeepers and run a beautifully restored historic inn. Our room (the Lakeside) was clean, comfy and had a modern bathroom complete with a rain head shower. Each morning Mike prepared a different and nicely presented, delicious breakfast. To ensure we were never without, Mike and Katie provided complimentary access to refreshments (coffee, tea and sparkling water) as well as treats and fruit throughout the day. Hayes Inn was our “home away from home” and we look forward to returning on our next visit to PEC. We’ve stayed a several B&Bs over the years and can confidently say that Hayes Inn ranks among the very best. Book your stay and you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I had a wonderful two night stay at this historical Hayes Inn. Our hosts Michael & Katie were super nice, not to forget their adorable puppy Lambert. Our room was so clean and decor lovely plus they have some amazing art work painted and photographed by family members - very talented. We are vegetarian and Michael made a wonderful breakfast for us including delicious fresh fruits and cheeses. An espresso machine was in our room but also in a room set aside for guests there was made available an additional espresso machine, kettle for tea plus yummy pastries, cookies and fresh fruit should you feel for a little treat before bed (or anytime). We would definately recommend this venue if you are visiting Prince Edward County.

We spent 3 lovely nights at the historic Hayes Inn. Our Innkeepers Katie, Mike and Lambert (adorable pug) were such welcoming and gracious hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms perfectly appointed (beds comfy, bathroom modern & very clean). The location was perfect. Nearby were great restaurants, the Waupoos Tart stand (so yummy!) and great cycling routes and of course wineries. Thanks to our Innkeepers. We will definitely return!

Six stars is warranted. What a beautiful house in a quaint picturesque part of Picton. We were absolutely blown away. The room was immaculate and so cute. Our hosts were super sweet and so welcoming. We were so impressed especially with the breakfast. Honestly we travel a lot this couple have a gift and are truly so gracious. And let’s talk about Lambert the most beautiful little puppy that we wanted to take home with us. Lol Thanks again it was a wonderful memory and a great weekend.

I stayed 3 days with my friend. The place is magnificent. A beautiful historic house near the nature. Interior design is contemporary. It is artistic, charming and exquisite, it respects the past history and is kept with love. Katie and Mike are wonderful hosts, very nice and talented people. Their biscuits/ loafs are out of this world. The full breakfast every morning was delicious and different each day. We could also have tea/coffee, water, fruits, pastry during the day. The place is immaculately clean, the bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay tremendously.
