Definitely my favourite place to stay in the County.The decor keeps the original charm mixed with some classy modern touches The physical plant is well maintained especially when you consider how long it's been open, and is always spotless, well done. Definitely like the change to the breakfast as now have a small menu to select from, still keeping the fruit and yogurt bar.As expected Chef Chris delivered a sumptuous breakfast. Kathleen was her cheery usual self, always willing to chat.

Great spot to stop and enjoy the town of Picton.... the staff is extremely friendly and the amenities and extras are 5 Star! Nice having a glass of wine on the upper deck watching the stars - room is extremely comfortable and the staff make you feel at home!

Perfect place to stay on our way east from Toronto. The hostess was very accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub amenities. Nice quiet spot in Picton. Breakfast was plentiful including a cold buffet and warm menu items. Room was great and upscale. Definitely recommended

Girlfriends and I went to Prince Edward County to celebrate our milestone birthdays. Stayed at the Manse and it was perfect. Kathleen and Chris are great hosts. Kathleen would stop and check in and chat with us to see how the stay was going, chat a bit and just make sure we were having an enjoyable stay. Chris' dinners cannot be missed. Amazing meal on the deck of the house (as it was possibly going to rain). Breakfast is a nice way to start the day with essentially something for everyone. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Keep up the good work!!

Kathleen and Chris are excellent Inn keepers. This was our first but not our last stay at the Manse We thought everything was wonderfull Would recommend this Inn to everyone. Centrally located in the town of Picton. Walking is encourged but there are taxis in the town

The Manse is the best place (only place) to stay in Picton! Kathleen and Chris are wonderful hosts. We loved them. And...be sure to reserve at least one evening dinner, Chris is an amazing chef! Go for it, its soooo worth the extra cash. Location is excellent! You can walk to all the Main Street best spots. Everything you want to see in Prince Edward County is a close an a half hour drive. The Inn is located in such a private & quiet location, great getaway. Love this place!

Having never been in this area of Ontario I read the reviews of the Manse and was glad to find out all the positive things are true. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. They are tastefully decorated and each have something special. The outside veranda, the large upstairs balcony, the lounge area near the waterfall, the the cozy front room meant that we were able to meet and relax with the other couple traveling with us. As innkeepers, Kathleen and Chris were very attentive from the moment we walked in. Kathleen made a point of sitting down and chatting throughout our stay and gave us a little history of the area, directions to various locations and recommendations for places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manse. It’s a beautiful building with well appointed rooms. This is one of the few times we’ve travelled and we couldn’t think of anything that needed improving. The innkeepers, Kathy and Chris were also excellent. Great advice, great food and attentive. We also enjoyed a half day wine tour with Ian at Quinte Tours arranged through the Manse. We would recommend it. I only wish we’d had one more day to spend just relaxing at the Inn to enjoy the beautiful pool and surroundings. Walkable to town. Lots of restaurants and shops close by.

What an incredible place to get away in the Picton area. The hosts were authentic, accommodating and their breakfast was hands down THE best we have ever had at a B and B!!! Next time, we will book ahead and indulge in dinner there as well!!!

My wife and I got the day use package with each a 1 hour massage with Rita. Rita treated us quite special. The environment at the Manse, totally resets your brain to relax. They gave us robes, slippers, complimentary teas, access to the heated pool and hot tub. Plus, the 1 hour massage was exactly what is needed to let go of all that physical and mental stress. As well as the no rush environment of the staff. Come here if you are looking to rest and relax and escape the hectic day to day life.
