The Manse is the best place (only place) to stay in Picton! Kathleen and Chris are wonderful hosts. We loved them. And...be sure to reserve at least one evening dinner, Chris is an amazing chef! Go for it, its soooo worth the extra cash. Location is excellent! You can walk to all the Main Street best spots. Everything you want to see in Prince Edward County is a close an a half hour drive. The Inn is located in such a private & quiet location, great getaway. Love this place!

Having never been in this area of Ontario I read the reviews of the Manse and was glad to find out all the positive things are true. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. They are tastefully decorated and each have something special. The outside veranda, the large upstairs balcony, the lounge area near the waterfall, the the cozy front room meant that we were able to meet and relax with the other couple traveling with us. As innkeepers, Kathleen and Chris were very attentive from the moment we walked in. Kathleen made a point of sitting down and chatting throughout our stay and gave us a little history of the area, directions to various locations and recommendations for places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manse. It’s a beautiful building with well appointed rooms. This is one of the few times we’ve travelled and we couldn’t think of anything that needed improving. The innkeepers, Kathy and Chris were also excellent. Great advice, great food and attentive. We also enjoyed a half day wine tour with Ian at Quinte Tours arranged through the Manse. We would recommend it. I only wish we’d had one more day to spend just relaxing at the Inn to enjoy the beautiful pool and surroundings. Walkable to town. Lots of restaurants and shops close by.

What an incredible place to get away in the Picton area. The hosts were authentic, accommodating and their breakfast was hands down THE best we have ever had at a B and B!!! Next time, we will book ahead and indulge in dinner there as well!!!

My wife and I got the day use package with each a 1 hour massage with Rita. Rita treated us quite special. The environment at the Manse, totally resets your brain to relax. They gave us robes, slippers, complimentary teas, access to the heated pool and hot tub. Plus, the 1 hour massage was exactly what is needed to let go of all that physical and mental stress. As well as the no rush environment of the staff. Come here if you are looking to rest and relax and escape the hectic day to day life.

Just want to say what an amazing weekend my friends and I had at The Manse. Kathleen and Chris were so friendly and gave us exceptional service all weekend. They even arranged a great wine tour with a nice picnic lunch. The food at The Manse is awesome and the rooms are so beautiful and quite. Great location as well. Could not have been better!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Manse in Picton, Prince Edward County. The Inn itself is just beautiful and was fully renovated within the last 10 years. Each room is tastefully decorated and restored and couldn't be more inviting or relaxing. We were lucky enough to stay over on a night that dinner was an optional extra. We enjoyed a real culinary delight - Chef Chris did himself proud! Kathleen couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly - we felt we were staying with friends rather than in a B&B!! We would totally recommend this Boutique Inn.

My boyfriend and I had the best weekend away at The Manse! The hosts were amazing; whether you enjoy interacting with them or prefer to do your own thing, they were very tuned in to what you preferred and respected it. The property itself was beautiful! The room was so nice it was difficult to leave. The beds and pillows gave us the best sleep we'd had in a very long time. The shower was also really nice. Other nice touches included: the pool and hot tub are open 24/7; there was a butler's pantry with cutlery and cups, tea, French press, and juice/pop/snacks (based on honour system); a nice fireplace; and there were board/card games available. My friends and I just finished a girls weekend at the Manse. The place is tucked in the back street so follow the directions given to get there. It is a beautiful spot, well decorated and the room we stayed in was charming. Kathleen and Chris were great, friendly, knowledgeable of the area and genuine. The food was so yummy, breakfast pancakes, or egg sandwich with their own bacon was excellent. The spa was fabulous (great massage) and relaxing. They have a hottub outside open 24 hrs and a pool (was not in season). I would recommend the Manse to anyone getting away for a girls or a couples getaway.
