Originally booked through 'Places in PEC' as all reviews were scored 5 star. What a disappointment! I have provided a review of 1 star to this property management firm however I do no believe it will be posted on their website. Pros: 'cute' and 'trendy' looking self-catering apartment - large living/dining area with porch/BBQ off the living area - full kitchen with dishwasher -within walking distance of the historic center- convenient to everything - very pleasant neighbours Cons: Lockbox not working & had to call property Mgr to fix. Two neighbours confirmed this is an ongoing issue and they usually help guests - WIFI intermittent with no access for 2 days - SmarT TV is small at 37" and accessing Netflix was difficult, again due to poor wifi - Air Conditioning turns out to be a small window unit in dining room -Cleaning charge of $150 yet the kitchen was not clean - all glasses/cups/dishes/cutlery needed to be washed given food was dried on - did not use small kitchen appliances - no microwave or stove hood fan - bedroom very small for 2 adults to move around - no storage - bathroom not clean and very small requiring standing between toilet & shower (abt 1 ft) to use mirror correctly - had to call the cleaner in to replace all pillows due to odor and to supply sufficient bedding for the number of adults booked to stay. This place was expensive @ $422/night. With cleaning fee , taxes and booking fees. For this price, I should not have had to clean the unit, and limit my ability to cook. Very disappointing!!…
