We booked the last two rooms that were available. They were upgraded rooms and we were not disappointed. They were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Fireplace in the rooms! Since there was 5 of us, a cot was in one room and waiting. It would have been great if our rooms would have been on the same floor...

Our family booked 6 rooms at the Waring House for a family wedding in the area. The Reservation clerk offered 6 rooms in the House Next Door, Main Floor where we would all be together. It was great - and so convenient. The rooms are older, have antique furniture, but all beds were modern & very comfortable. We enjoyed having...

We visited the Waring House for our anniversary. The grounds were very nice & we enjoyed an excellent dinner & a delicious breakfast with great service. Our room in the House Next Door was satisfactory & in a good location but the carpet & bathroom were in need of upgrading. We would return for the dining but would request a...

The waring house is a nice place. We came here for our anniversary and splurged on a room with a hot tub. For almost $400 a room in a rural setting... I expect quality. I was met with what I would expect at a conference. The food tasted previously frozen. The accommodations were the least they could get away with....

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at The Waring House. We loved The Barley Room and had a lunch and 2 dinners there. The Charcuterie Platter was awesome and my husband loved the burger he had for dinner one night. The blueberry & rhubarb pie was amazing!!! Special thanks to servers Wendy and Jim who...

This was a repeat visit after a hiatus of several years. Time must have stood still. We were in the "House next Door" and found leaky toilet, an old tube TV, a vanity mirror made for our ancestors who were not taller than 5 feet etc. Yes there was a hot tub - but I thought they also are passé....

Thank you for your feedback. Both the Main Lodge and The House Next Door - is one of the original buildings and we have chosen to maintained its original historic charm. As such most of the furnishings within the buildings and rooms are antiques along with the decor. The shortcomings of the rooms have been shared with our team and...

We stayed in a building away from the main building where the restaurant is. The bed was comfortable. The room was charmless. Standard characterless hotel room. Quiet. Air conditioning worked. We had a decent breakfast which was included in the price but snacks at the bar (pizza and wings) were not good and exorbitantly priced. Stay here if you can't...

We stayed at The Waring House from Friday Aug 26 to Sunday Aug 28, 2016. To start off, I have to tell you that their staff are all very nice and helpful. The grounds and restaurant are very nice. When we made the reservation we asked for a quiet room. We were told that they had a King suite which...

Visiting for our 1st time to the area so had an open mind. For the price of the hotel vs what you get in Niagara on the Lake we had a certain expectation. Nothing fancy to be clear. What we had was an average hotel stay. 1 - the rooms are dated. So much potential but need modernizing and a...

The suite was large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge. The floor was a bit slippery though and there was nothing to hang onto in the shower. The bathtub was great for two people. We enjoyed our breakfasts there, and one dinner. Otherwise we spent a lot of time in bed! It was lovely!!
