We stayed at the Claramount for one night on our way from Toronto to Ottawa. It is a majestic old building right near the Picton bay with lovely grounds. We had Suite #1 on the ground floor of the main building. Unfortunately the controls for the air conditioning unit were not working properly. As such, i had to get up...

This a gorgeous heritage building that was restored to excellence but is now deteriorating. The place shows wear outside in that railings are mildewed and rotting in need of repair and paint. The rooms are lovely but dusty artificial flower arrangements should be removed. When we checked in the staff were helpful and pleasant. However we struggled with our luggage up the steep...

The Claramount has recently been sold and the new owners are definitely not experienced in the "inn" business. Breakfast the first morning took over 1 1/2 hours. Kitchen ran out of eggs so the one and only waitress in the dining room was sent into town to get them. No staff member or management apologized for the long wait. Outside...

We just did a girls weekend (20 women) and I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the Inn...The food was fabulous, the staff friendly and accommodating (and patient!). The beds were comfortable and rooms clean and inviting.

We found this lovely gem on Wagjag but will definitely go back. Well appointed, lovely rooms, welcoming staff, GREAT food and wonderful customer service. The Inn has been lovingly restored to it's 1903 splendor. Very clean.

We had another wonderful stay at the Claramount Inn. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. Our room, # 5 was amazing. Large, bright, tastefully decorated and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A wonderful balcony as well that over looks the water. This is a beautiful old inn and yes there are a few wear...

I went there just for a spa treatment and I was less than impressed with the overall experience. The facial was average, the place is dated and there is next to no sound proofing when you are in the treatment rooms so while you are trying to relax, you can hear everything outside your door and above you. Not to...

This is the second time that we've been to this inn during "Countylicious" We had a very relaxing time. The room was clean and spacious. The only negative about the room is that is directly over the dining room and kitchen and you could hear some of the activity during breakfast and dinner but we didn't mind it. The staff...

Stayed here recently on a wag jag which was a good deal but wouldn't pay full price. Rooms were nice but bed was a bit uncomfortable I think it could have used a new mattress. Has a salt water pool but the area of the pool and hot tub could use some TLC as hot tub lid was falling apart...

The price was through the roof. We both enjoyed the massage - hot stone, but the rest was WAY over priced. We won't be going back. Over $750 without a real meal or overnight stay?? Never again going to Claramount Inn. I'll look for the great lady that did the massage elsewhere!
