This place is well situated and well appointed. Right downtown Picton close to all the shops and restaurants. Well situated to get picked up for wine tours. The host was most gracious, quick to respond to any question and full of valuable information.

We were at the Aletha suite and we were impressed with size of the rooms and cleanness. The beds are extremely comfortable and lots of pillows. Bathroom is huge and with a great shower and double vanity. Location is fantastic, walking distance to downtown and right on the harbour Breakfast is amaizing and with lots of yummy choices. We highly recommend this place to stay in Picton

Jerry who assisted via email and is front desk staff at the Inn is wonderful. Contactless check-in and check-out works very well. Stunning view of the harbour from the corner room #307. This is a 2-floor Inn/Motel with room numbers beginning with a “3” on the top 2nd floor. Room was very clean and well maintained. The firm mattress is fully enclosed in a zippered mattress cover. The thin sheets feel as if they are 100% polyester and made us warm though. My wife always feels cold and even she commented the bedding was warm for her. Thoughtful 110/120 standard electrical receptacles and USB-A ports ( 2 of each type on both sides of bed) to charge your devices on both night tables. Patio sliding door with screen that can open from either side. Balcony facing rear parking lot and beautiful harbour. Parking out front for about 6 vehicles and parking at rear for maybe an additional 20 vehicles. A large gravel parking lot is also available directly across from the Inn at the corner of Bridge and Mortimer Street. Currently Google maps does not show this lot but the structure showing is gone and it’s a large lot now. Parking is free at the Inn and gravel lot. No room safe provided. TV reception was between poor (even for local southern Ontario channels) and OK/good but not excellent. About 1/4 - 1/3rd of the channels were not watchable. Too much snow and/or diagonal lines on screen. Occasionally it seemed it got a bit better during some times of the day. Water pressure at bathroom sink and tub faucet were very good but below average out of shower head. No handheld shower head and no adjustable water spray pattern that may have solved the somewhat weak spray. Not a deal breaker though. At home I select the more narrow spray pattern that increases water pressure immensely. The breakfast at the Lighthouse restaurant in the Inn is a local favourite and fills up with wait lists after around 9-9:30am depending on the day of the week. They are open daily at 7am. I highly recommend this restaurant for a no nonsense good breakfast/lunch with great, friendly service. You can also call the restaurant maybe 30-60 minutes before you want to arrive to put yourself or group on the wait list if one has been started. My wife and I have already stated we would stay at the Picton Harbour Inn again whenever we are in the area.

My friend and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Picton Harbour Inn. This hotel has balconies with spectacular views of the harbour, convenient location, walking distant to main strip and restaurants. Breakfast at Lighthouse is a must. Hotel rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and front desk are accommodating, knowledgeable, and very helpful to make your stay a perfect one. Thank you Ute for taking care of us.

Let’s stat with the positive: Great location . Pretty view of harbour. Comfy bed. Contact free check in . Our MAJOR NEGATIVE was the cleanliness. Not sure if it was just our room. I included pictures . Bugs inside , dirty floors with mould etc For almost $300 for the night , the cleanliness was not near up to standards Also, we could literally hear EVERYTHING in the room next door. I would hesitate before booking again, because cleanliness is the only thing I will not compromise

This place looks like nothing special from the road. But the rooms are outstanding -- well furnished and they open onto Picton Harbour. A great setting. A nice restaurant with great service. An all-round stand out !

The good: Location and boat slips, clean, nice bathroom and shower for boaters Basic hotel room, small tv, loud wall ac which we turned off Good bed, pillows and the shower was fine, no issues with hot water Quiet with a balcony and harbour view Decent restaurant Good location, short walk to centre of town Good staff with easy check in and out The bad: It’s a motel It’s basic, no luxury It’s 250 a night (in Picton) Some what clean to room could use some attention to detail Additional thoughts: For 250 a night, update the TV, add a couple of real glass tumblers, throw in a couple of bags of chips and bottles of water…..something small

I travel a ton and have never seen such incredible hospitality. Every single employee went beyond to ensure satisfaction and always with a smile. I would come back just because its such a ‘feel good’ ambiance! The rooms are good. Pretty basic but clean and comfortable with a nice view of the harbour.

My husband and I were travelling in the area and stopped in for breakfast one Saturday. It was very busy at 7:30 a.m. (they open at 7 a.m) and only waited about 20 minutes to get a table. Very popular place with locals and travellers. Had the eggs, bacon, toast and home fries. Delicious! The next day returned earlier for pancakes. Also very tasty.
