We rented about 10 cottages and filled them all. The owners were great to us and we're more than accommodating the entire time. This was our 3rd yr in a row going there but with about 20 more people. Can't wait till next year.

My friend and I spent a few days road tripping to the East coast and we were not disappointed when we arrived at Whale Cove Summer Village. Incredibly friendly staff and very accommodating. The location was absolutely perfect for a great get away. Directly across from the ocean, we were able to watch sunrises and sunsets from the kitchen table...

Stayed here with friends for a bachelorette party for one of my best friends. The cabins are small, and cute, and definitely tacky (but who doesn't love a nice tacky cabin when they go camping). The staff was friendly and accommodating for our large group. (15 of us stayed in 3 cabins). Unfortunately, I slept on the pull-out couch in...

Nice cabins..exactly what they are, cabins. The shower smelled of rust/iron from what we assumed to be old pipes. Great location, with beach across the way and beaches down the road (chimney corner and dunvegan). 47 minute drive to the Skyline Trail and other popular sites

These cottages are very rustic. They are nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. The beach isn't right onsite like the photos indicate, but a 5 minute walk across the street is all it takes. Being from a large city, it had been years since we really got to see the stars at night- the views here are...

These cottages are JUST OKAY! There was only 1 sink in the 2 br unit my family and i had. The pullout couch is a futon. Only cooktop, no oven. 3 burners. Lovely screened in porch. No firepits. Very basic. The cable sucks if you happen to have a rainy day. The wifi is non existent unless you are at...

We visit this area of Cape Breton every summer to visit family. The beaches are spectacular and the people are very friendly. The house we usually rent wasn't available so we decided to stay at Whale Cove. We had driven by many times before on our way to Chimney Corner beach. We had a cottage at the very front, there...

The service at this location was excellent. We arrived past check-in time to find a note on the door and directions to our cabin. Hostess was very friendly next day when we met. Beach and cliff across road are beautiful and offer a view of the trail. Cabins themselves have seen better days and amenities are very minimal, but space...

The good is the cottage we stayed in was very clean and had an amazing view. The reality is it was a bit older and a bit outdated. Personally I did not care about the outdated stuff because it was clean. The problem I had was the fact that there were too many oversights: the kettle on the stove leaked,...
