Where to start... We froze - the room was so cold and there was no heat. Others had portable heaters in their rooms but ours did not. We borrowed one from a family member that lives nearby but it couldn't heat the space adequately so we never warmed up. The most frustrating part to this was that I had asked...

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Lobster rolls were fresh and full of lobster and the fries were great. They had ice cold beer and the service was a little slow but the staff were wonderful and friendly and we weren't in a hurry. Worth the wait! We really enjoyed it!!!

My family & I just came back from a stay at 45th Parallel Motel and Restaurant & the experience was top notch! We first stopped in at the restaurant for a bite to eat & the food was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was extremely friendly & treated us as family from the minute we arrived. We loved it so much...

We didn't dine at any other restaurant on the island but I must say we really enjoyed our breakfast here!! It was nothing more than pan fries, eggs, bacon and toast but it was delicious...We sat on the patio and talked with the owner who was very friendly...Well manicured property and serve yourself fresh veggies across the street...

We sat on the deck on a very hot day (at least for Canada, but not so much for us Southerners). We waited a long time for our order to come, and when it came, it was not the fried scallops I ordered, but clams. They were, however, delicious! And when I told the cook (the owners are a sister...

My boyfriend and I spent a night at the 45th Parallel Motel this weekend past, and we had a lovely time. The room was clean, and although I was a little concerned after reading a couple of the reviews on here, my fears were quelled as soon as we arrived. Though the room smelled a little musty, and the bathroom...

Okay, so the hotel is ancient, and there is no "full breakfast" (or even coffee) as described on the sign outside the building, but if you choose to join the entire population of Deer Island on July 4th to observe the Eastpoint USA Fireworks across the water from Deer Island your other option is camping. If you are traveling thru...

Basically, you're getting what you bargained for. A cheap motel with a cheap price. As it is, I don't think it's cheap enough. They must have taken the pictures on the websites ten years ago! Cracked walls, broken toilet paper holders, cheap towels and ammenities, scratchy/ flat bedset, and an overall firty room. Horrible services, the owners are cranky and...

We stayed a night with our grand-daughter and were very disappointed in this motel. The room was dirty - we killed several bugs and also found dead spiders hanging on the walls and in the corners. We complained and the owner came in to look at the room. Her attitude was "I just cleaned this room this morning" and "well...
