I can't believe I've lived on Vancouver Island most my life and didn't know this Jem of a resort was so close! We were fortunate enough to stay in one of the Villa Cielo Suites. It was absolutely gorgeous!! The view is spectacular, above the clouds looking out over the straight. The room was very spacious and updated. It reminded me of a Tuscan retreat. We stayed for 3 nights and after the 2nd night we woke to snow. It made us a little nervous leaving the resort (as our suite was at the top of the mountain, a little drive away from the restaurant/spa and main reception) so we called for room service, hoping that they would be able to reach us and they brought up a lovely breakfast from the restaurant. We enjoyed having a snow day as we are always on the go! Little downfall was the cable - not many channels to chose from, especially when snowed in, lol. They really thought of their clients, right down to having binoculars to watch the beautiful eagles flying above. Thank you for doing your part in saving thousands of kilograms of plastic by using refillable dispensing units in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash! The restaurant was lovely. We had breakfast twice there and enjoyed it both times! The view from the restaurant is just as nice as the one from our suite. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming upon check in and check out. The housekeeping staff were very thoughtful and stopped vacuuming when we entered the resort. The housekeeping staff gets a big shout out for keeping the suites and resort clean and tidy!! I would stay again and recommend this resort to everyone! It's a beautiful place to stay and needs to be recognized for such a pleasant resort.

We attended their "Tour de France" Wine & Dine evening and, as this was a wine-paired dinner, decided to spend the night. The experience was exceptional from start to finish - from the efficient & friendly staff, to our room with incredible views, to the exquisite meal with beautiful wines. We only live 30 minutes from the resort, but felt like we had been to Europe for the night. Thank you for making this a perfect staycation!

We stopped by on Boxing day. We had a wonderful experience, and I can hardly wait to go back! This property is in a spectacular setting. The view out over the inlet is beautiful. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived on a night when the roads were covered in snow, but we soon forgot our travel woes. Fantastic meal with great service. We will return but plan on spending a night or two as well.

Our stay at Villa Eyrie couldn’t have been better! This was our second stay, but first time in a superior suite. When we opened the door to our suite ,our eyes were drawn right across the room to the balcony doors and out onto Finlayson Arm. The view is spectacular! The staff here were so friendly and the meals were excellent. We had two breakfasts and two dinners during our stay, and enjoyed every bite 😊 Absolutely cannot wait until we come back! Thank you, Villa Eyrie staff for a lovely getaway!

Being a repeat customer to this location, I was looking forward to my stay. Unfortunately to say that the level of service has gone downhill would be a gross understatement. When checking in the receptionist told me that room service was available and all I needed to do was call the on-site restaurant. I did so immediately once reaching my room but found that no matter how many times I called the restaurant there was no answer. Eventually I called the front desk to ask for assistance and I was assured that they would have the restaurant call me, but no such call ever came. The next day I was prevented from even entering the hotel property due to a work truck blocking the entryway, and after waiting an inordinate amount of time I eventually called the front desk to ask for assistance. The gentleman who answered the phone was not at all helpful but responded in a manner that could only be described as rude. Later after realizing that I had been overcharged for my room I contacted the front desk again, only to be met with attitude and condescension. What a disappointment, this used to be a great place to stay. Upon returning home I received an e-mail requesting feedback, so I shared my experience with the hotel. That was a week ago now and I haven't even received a response.

Hello Launie, I am truly saddened to hear about your most recent experience at Villa Eyrie Resort. This is certainly not the type of experience our team prides itself on offering our guests. It sounds like we can make some improvements and I appreciate you letting us know so we have the opportunity to improve. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to experience Villa Eyrie so you can see what most of our other guests enjoy about the resort. Should you wish to come stay with us again please reach out to Samantha, our Front Office Manager.
