Nicely redone rooms, extremely clean, kitchenette has most things you need, clean and heated nice outdoor pool but no AC and only 1 tiny window makes for very hot and sleepless nights. Really too bad because the rest of the hotel was lovely. I wouldn’t return in the summer or even spring but fall and winter would be fine.

We booked originally because we were told the hotel was pet friendly, however it recently changed hands and no longer is pet friendly. We ended up leaving the dog with family and kept the reservation. A nice lady was in the office when we arrived and she checked us in with no issues. We had a nice clean room with a fridge, microwave , Keurig, and hot plate. Since the weather was chilly for May we didn't bring our swimsuits, so we couldn't enjoy the pool or the hot tub. There is WiFi and a good selection of choices on TV. I would happily stay here again.

first time at this resort and it was AWESOME and very affordable in the off season rate. Full kitchen (with dishes, pots,....) and the coffee table folded out to large dining table (we had to figure that out on our own). Quadra's not that large so this is a good base for a few days for exploring the island. Clean, comfy bed, everything worked....lots of parking right outside the door (parking in the rear so no stairs to climb lol!). Super interesting driftwood art (almost a dozen-these are only examples!) around the property. Pleasant check in and additional coffee and supplies out back on top of the ice machine. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Nice room, double beds, polite, cheerful staff, BUT:
No one in the office at 2:45 PM to check in. We wanted smaller pillows, but there was no phone in room to ask for assistance. Terrible condensation. Exhaust fan are useless. The windows were totally fogged in the morning. Prime parking spaces were filled up with personal property.

Fantastic stay here for one night to see a concert in the community centre. Exceeded expectations. Nice little table right in front of the large window looking out over the harbour and the fall colours. Easy level access to parking at the back. Darkening blinds. Open window. Totally quiet. Fully equipped kitchenette, dishes, even a toaster and great coffee. So close to the ferry, shops, and small restaurants. We will be back soon.

I am presently visiting Quadra Island at the Whiskey Point Resort. This is my 3rd visit from Michigan, in 5 years, and, although, I am almost 70 years old I hope to make it back at least one more time. My last visit was in 2011, and I was so surprised to discover numerous improvements to this charming property. The new managers, Nanci and Tracy, are outstanding. They jump through hoops to see that their guests are comfortable, happy, and have everything they could want. Whiskey Point Resort is a 20-room resort with incredible views of the harbor, ferry landing, mountains and other islands, from every room, which, also, overlook the kidney-shaped pool and a zen garden. In back, there's a 1/2 acre grassy yard surrounded by a crescent-shaped natural stone wall topped by towering spruce, fir, hemlock, and cedar trees. There is a volleyball net, a children's playground, and a gazebo with hot tub, barbeques on the covered patio. If you are looking for a "W" hotel, this place isn't it. If you desire charm beyond compare, you won't be disappointed.

Whiskey Point Resort is good location, good views and good facilities. It is very close to the ferry dock, you can't miss it. And also, you can walk some shopping spots as a supermarket, post office, library etc. It takes about 5 min. The room has a small but well equipped kitchenette. There are microwave, stove, fridge and dishes, so I could cook and eat with a table and chairs. That was great. In addition, you can see fabulous scenery from the windows. I really enjoyed to see it everyday. In the hotel, there is a art gallery of Quadra Island artists. I enjoyed it, too.
If you want to be relax, turn to the Whiskey Point Resort.

Hi, we do not have a licensed kind of shuttle, if you call us, and we know you are coming, we will come get you-- if you are moored at Quathiaski Cove. There is a government dock there, just across from us. Nanci
