first time at this resort and it was AWESOME and very affordable in the off season rate. Full kitchen (with dishes, pots,....) and the coffee table folded out to large dining table (we had to figure that out on our own). Quadra's not that large so this is a good base for a few days for exploring the island. Clean, comfy bed, everything worked....lots of parking right outside the door (parking in the rear so no stairs to climb lol!). Super interesting driftwood art (almost a dozen-these are only examples!) around the property. Pleasant check in and additional coffee and supplies out back on top of the ice machine. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

We booked originally because we were told the hotel was pet friendly, however it recently changed hands and no longer is pet friendly. We ended up leaving the dog with family and kept the reservation. A nice lady was in the office when we arrived and she checked us in with no issues. We had a nice clean room with a fridge, microwave , Keurig, and hot plate. Since the weather was chilly for May we didn't bring our swimsuits, so we couldn't enjoy the pool or the hot tub. There is WiFi and a good selection of choices on TV. I would happily stay here again.

Nice room, double beds, polite, cheerful staff, BUT: No one in the office at 2:45 PM to check in. We wanted smaller pillows, but there was no phone in room to ask for assistance. Terrible condensation. Exhaust fan are useless. The windows were totally fogged in the morning. Prime parking spaces were filled up with personal property.

Spent a couple of nights here and was very pleased with the room. Convenient to the ferry terminal and most of Quadra's services, nit is a nice hotel. Not really a resort but the pool is very popular. Friendly staff and nice view.

Quadra Island has far fewer lodging options and restaurants in relation to its large physical size than you might imagine. The reason? The Island is largely a giant provincial lumber operation with a smattering of private land, nice spots to explore, and a tiny population. This is not Salt Spring Island! The nature of Quadra Island leaves visitors with only a handful of possibilities in the motel/hotel/resort category. Whiskey Point Resort is a great option. Not what you would expect in the "resort" category, but a nice small hotel. Positives: + Right by the ferry terminal, which is super convenient. + Easy access to the Island's shops and services, which are just up the street. + Clean throughout, including the seasonal heated pool, which was very nice. + New owners are constantly upgrading it, so being renewed + Friendly and generous staff, who are the owners. + Our room was spacious, updated, and comfortable. + Comfortable beds. + Full cable service on the large TV. + Fast, free wireless internet A couple of drawbacks: - An older building and grounds that are being upgraded. Don't expect a brand new place with fully modern furniture and fittings. - A bit of traffic and noise from the ferry, but not at all serious. Overall, a really nice stay and highly recommended if you are on the Island for a 2-3 days and need a comfortable stay. Final note: Upon check-in the owner gave us a extra-large bag of coconut granola bites for our stay. Unusual and unexpected. And we munched them non-stop as they were really tasty! Thank you!

New VERY comfy beds with beautiful sheets pillows and duvets. Next to ferry so nice views. Owners are very friendly and kind. Table and chair by the window to watch ferry come and go. Bathroom is dated but all very clean. Lovely sitting area outside with water view. Definitely stay here again.

We happen to get the brand new renovated room (appears as they are renovating rooms, there was no noise while we were there). Very clean room, with small kitchenette (no oven). The rooms have no a/c, a fan in the rooms would have been great. (Didn’t ask for one, not sure if they are available). The pool was great. There is a comfy area to sit with umbrellas in the front of the hotel to relax, and check out the views. Convient location, 8 min walk to grocery store and a couple restaurants, library and book store, and a market on Saturday in the summer. The staff were friendly and available when needed. The front desk has a variety of snacks, frozen meals and drinks available for purchase.

Booked this room on short notice. For the price, the room was clean and comfortable if a little dated (apparently under renovation but we didn’t see or hear any works going on). Pool was a nice added bonus and is cleaned every morning so in good shape. The location is great right by the ferry and within walking distance of a few good eateries (Coveside Seafood Eatery, The Clove) and grocery store. All in all, a pretty good spot.

We did not stay in the hotel, but it is right by the main ferry terminal to Campbell river and they do bike hire. We had a wonderful time! The bikes were top-notch (electric mountain bikes) and great value - such a great way to see the island. Which is very hilly - so e bikes definitely a bonus.
