Amazing location. Poet's cove had great views from the cottages (our cottage, 8 , was fantastic) and the cabins are newly renovated, great amenities. Highly recommend! Pender island itself is wonderful, lots of hikes and beaches.
We recently spent two nights at Poet's Cove Resort on Pender Island. It was a beautiful, restful retreat. The staff was very friendly, always available to answer questions. We stayed in a king room which was excellent and exactly as pictured online...very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The view of the harbour was right there from our expansive private deck where we enjoyed a glass of wine each evening. I would highly recommend Poet's Cove Resort.
Such a stunning location. Loved our king suite , very quiet accommodations! Heated pool a bonus and hot tub ! Not too thrilled with dinner at restaurant, will try again , but nothing too great. Would love stay in a cabin suite next time with own hot tub and kitchen. Went for walks in area, he next time will bring our kayaks.
A beautiful resort in a magical BC cove, The resort is well maintained and the bistro is excellent. The food is great, service is good, as well. The outdoor pool and the hot tub is well heated and a joy to use.
As someone who reads a lot of reviews before booking, I was a little nervous about this stay. If I had not been to the Island previously and walked the grounds, I may of passed up on booking here. However, it always looked incredible so I could not resist. I have zero regrets. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage with a hottub. If anyone has stayed at a heritage Fairmont hotel, it definitely had those vibes that fits the Island perfectly. It was slightly rustic, but still had the granite counters, heated floors, jacuzzi tub, tile shower and dare I say their robes are the best robes I have ever had at a hotel. The bed and pillows were also comfortable for us. I also found the cottage to be very clean, quiet and comfortable. I took one star off because it seems like they are still having staffing issues, despite things reopening. Examples of this were: no house keeping, spa closed, 2 out of the 3 restaurants were closed and the one restaurant open had a very limited menu. Unfortunately we didn't do much on the resort because of this. It did, however, force us to try a lot of other hidden gems on the Island, so it was a win. All in all it was a nice stay and we will definitely be back again. Hopefully more will be open next time. …
