We thourougly enjoyed attending as a Family at Camp Homewood. We had the pleasure of staying in one of their cabins. Such a beautiful location in the harbour with friendly staff and lots of activities, along with relaxation time! We had a blast participating in family team building water games, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, horseback riding, archery and more. The food...

I have been going to camp Homewood for quite a few years! It has been an amazing experience both spiritually and emotionally. I have met great new people and the staff and leaders have done excellent jobs in making my stay there an amazing experience. I went to the single mom's camp this past summer and loved it so much....

Camp Homewood had lots of activities for the kids and the setting is truly beautiful. The lodge was certainly adequate with comfortable enough beds and a bathroom in our room. The staff and counselors were very nice and tried to be very helpful, but I had two VERY concerning incidents while there for a Mother/Child Family Camp and unfortunately we...

My son and husband have been part of the Father Son weekend for about the last 5 or 6 years. They have had an amazing time every year. The thing they like the best is the food! They love the games and especially the bottle rockets making. Sailing is a plus, as the camp is right on the water. Remember...

Even though we live about 8 hours away this still remains our favorite summer time vacation. We usually go every other year but the kids begged to go again this year. This is an awesome family vacation for everyone (including mom). Delicious meals, great fellowship, riflery, archery, swimming, boating, canoeing, sailing, tubing etc. There is literally something for everyone. Add...

Hi, I was the original poster and am updating what I said. It's been a couple of years since I wrote, Trip advisor sent me an email saying someone said my post was helpful. Since I wrote the original post I received a couple of calls from friends of Camp Homewood. They were very good people. I'm glad the director...

There are literally thousands of Camp Homewood "fans" so it is too bad that there is such a negative review posted on this site. It goes without saying that this camp exists to teach kids from all walks of life about the love of God but it is not the norm to state that religion is shoved down kids' throats....

our kids went to Camp Homewood in Grade 6 for a weekend retreat with the school. Had a great time, no religion teaching (not that that would be a problem) so, we sent them for a week. My boy the sailing adventure, not to bad, pretty good reviews, usually camp stuff like I had as a kid, what happens in...

Camp Homewood strives to be a fun and safe place where people of all ages can come and enjoy the beauty that God has blessed us with here. Our mission statement reads that we are here to....."present the Love of God and the claims of Christ.........in an unthreatening atmosphere...." As a camp director I discourage discussions and speculations of hell...

“Tents are canvas on a platform with thin mattresses, good for the bargain hunter. Cabins are beautifully located in the woods and have a nearby restroom and showers. Lodge rooms are very spacious and offer a range of levels. i personally like either a cabin or a downstairs lodge room.”
