The location and service was spectacular. The view from the patio was lovely. We were underwhelmed by the food. While it was very nicely prepared and presented and tasty, the lunch menu is what you might expect from a 50's diner. We were hoping something that might reflect first nation's sensibility or be a bit more up to date. That...

I do not know why the Tsa-Kwa_Luten Lodge ist listed under B&Bs not under Hotels. It is a fully fledged hotel, with a few cabins along the shore. Wonderful view on the narrow strait between Quadra and Vancouver Island. The rooms are large and comfortable, however the bathrooms are quite small, don't try to squeeze in two at the time....

We had the luck to stay for a brief period in this splendid hotel, run and owned by the Cape Mudge Tribe. I have always been fascinated by the history of Native people and their faith. We were given a very warm welcome, the hotel is unique and dinner was fantastic! We hiked to the village and during that walk...

An excellent place to relax away from the city! The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are a good size and very clean, and the Restaurant has 5 star food, including different types of local seafood. A wonderful view from all rooms of local Marine Traffic, Cruise ships and wildlife. We love it here!!!

We recently took advantage of leaner economic times, presumed reduced demand and our own need for a short quiet retreat style break, to take advantage of a discounted deal of four days and three nights at this resort hotel. The location is indeed splendid. Each room overlooks the busy Discovery Channel between Quadra Island and Vancouver Island and the hotel...

We went to the Tsa Kwa Luten resort August 7th, staying one night. This is an older resort, but the rooms are large and very clean, and the great room is spectacular. The restaurant is excellent, serving a wide variety of food. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is quiet and comforting. There is no TV - that's not...

Clean, comfortable and on the water. Watching sea life , sun sets and sun rises from your deck. Not a bad view from anywhere. We had 3 double beds, one of which was a loft, quite lovely actually. Mini fridge and good beds. Restaurant on site with happy hour from 2-6.

Tsa Kwa Luten not only looks different, it feels it too. It would be hard to imagine a better location to build a resort on the southern tip of Quadra Island (Cape Mudge) abutting forest and with a commanding view of passing marine traffic. A number of trails leave the resort including gravel roads or for the more hearty, forested...

Not a lot has been done to this stately lodge over the years but its views are remarkable. Sitting on the deck watching sea traffic navigate Discovery Passage is a peaceful time. Food is good, service staff are okay but your first experience is at check in. This is where staff should be setting the level of service for the...
