We camped for two nights at site #8, which fits one tent. The site is very nice - ground is cleared, lots of shade from the trees, a picnic table to use, and looks right out into the water. The campsite is a short walk from the parking lot, so be prepared to haul your gear a bit. For the...

Lois was very accommodating and resourceful during our stay on Mayne island. She was there when we arrived, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The camp spot itself was absolutely stunning, and we loved the outdoor tree shower!

Stayed at campground #4,one of four. #3 would fit two tents and is great spot. Perched on a small bluff, the spots all look West across Seal Beach and Miners Bay. I was on my bike and had to push through 500 m of rough trail. Next time I would select from sites on the east side as it adjacent...

This campground is a truly gorgeous spot on Active Pass, looking right across at Galiano Island. I have used this campground as a base camp for my summer natural history classes for teachers since 2007. People literally come back here over and over just for the outdoor treehouse shower.

This place is great. Perfect for car-free campers with an easy 20-30 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Village close by with groceries and water so you don't have to pack everything in on the first night. Well maintained sites and the tree shower is a dream. The best part - a mess of seals to keep you company. We've...

Facilities were very good and I had a great time with friends, I only found the cabinet washrooms uncomfortable but it's part of the experience. Over all, it was very pleasant to camp in this place. It was fun.

Hi Victor, Thank you for the positive review and we are glad you enjoyed your visit! Yes, you are right, outhouses are part of the Canadian camping experience. We take pride in keeping them clean and well maintained but they definitely don't flush!! Hope you can come again! Lois

The Mayne Island trip was once in a lifetime experience. Campsite gave a perfect aura of the beautiful ocean and distant mountains. You could just go for hiking through the small trails and enjoy the sunset. The area is spacious and you could hang around and play games. The "open shower" is an unexpected feature and surely adds to the...

This place offers a good experience for campers. It is a pristine and tranquil place more or less like a weekend getaway with a lot of activities during the night and day. The quality of the hotel and assistance was impressive. Overall I would rate this place a full 5 stars.
