Absolutely amazing. Interior staff are awesome as are the guides. The boats are the best way n the coast and great for the ladies with their own private bathroom. Food is first class as is the experience

Everything was first class. The service at the lodge was really special. They took care of every detail to perfection. Julie and the team made every guest feel so special. No detail was overlooked, and they were there for every need with a big smile. Food and drink was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully. . The fishing is great. Our guide Stu was super. The service he provided for my 88 year old father was beyond belief. We limited out, lots of action and we fished right up till the end. We fish as much as 12 hours in a day, so much fun. Stu was so wonderful to to spend the time with, kept us on the fish and made the trip very special. Everyone at the lodge could not have been more attentive. I would be remiss if I also did not tell you how wonderful Liz at corporate was. The service from researching to contracting through arrival was so pleasant. We faced some real challenges on our end and she handled everything with a great calming attitude. I could not recommend Langara Island Lodge higher, I only wish I could add more stars as the entire team deserves it.

This was my first salmon fishing trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. We had a great guide in Cam. Very knowledgeable and patient, especially since only one in our group of four had ever fished salmon before. And he recommended this lodge. The lodge itself was better than expected. Top notch service. They remember your name from day one and did everything possible to make this the trip to remember. Excellent food. The accommodations were very comfortable and had a great feel. The fact that this lodge has so many repeat guests says a lot. There was one couple who had been there 7 or 8 times. The group after us were greeted as it they were family. Places like this are few and far between. If you have never gone salmon fishing before or have but want to do it again, I strongly recommend this place.

From the moment we arrive in Vancouver South Terminal, we knew we were on to something special. Chartered flight and helicopter ride to the lodge. Fantastic lunch and cocktails while we settled in. Our captain, Cam, was awesome. Super Friendly, but totally on the task of catching fish. I am not an experienced fisherman at the least, but within an hour I knew what I was doing, and over the course of the next couple of days, I limited out on some big salmon, and had a pile of laughs along the way The time in the lodge with friends was great. The food was top shelf, ordering anything we wanted. They were happy to bring us Sangrias in the hot tub, or make us old fashions while we rested in front of the fire. I think us up pictures of Caesars, or thermoses full of espresso martinis before we headed out on the water was over the top The accommodations were super comfortable, and the staff was top-notch. It’s hard to imagine how much was going on behind the scenes to make our stay perfect, but the front of house girls were beyond attentive and knew all our names from the first greeting. Just got back, and after a long journey, my fish are still perfectly frozen. We defrosted one of the Coho, and just had an amazing meal. I honestly can’t wait to get back

Langara is a first class experience from start to finish. The scenery, the food, and the fishing are all amazing. Cam was a fantastic guide who was a lot of fun to be out with, and he definitely got us on the fish. Our group of four limited out on salmon and halibut, and even got a couple bonus ling cod. What really makes Langara special is the hospitality of the girls in the lodge. Meg, Ana, Coral, Emma and Marlysse were incredibly attentive. Be sure to ask Ana to make you a sangria from her grandmother’s special recipe. :) Liz makes booking a breeze and is always available to answer questions. I can’t wait for my next trip. This is truly a special experience at a special place.

The staff at this location are great. Both the house staff and the fishing guides. The accommodation is comfortable and the food very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed my second trip here. Caught a lot of fish and saw plenty of whales. Thank you for an excellent experience.

I was lucky enough to get to go to Langara Lodge for 5 days with friends. The service is top notch. From check-in at the YVR south terminal and fight to Massett, to the HeliJet flight from Massett then to Langara Island Lodge dock and the lodge accommodations/food service. We stayed in the Raven Lodge, a more private 3 bedroom very well appointed self contained lodge on its own, suited to house 6 fishermen. We were appointed 2 young ladies to look after us (Rebecca and Keely) and they were very efficient. From cocktails to meals, theses young ladies did a great job. We fished, had drinks and wonderful meals cooked by their resident chef. Mark, Tommy and Yosh, our fishing guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The fishing was sometimes a bit slow, but with these guides, it was always a fun and enjoyable time. David, the lodge manager visited often, gave us fishing information and was also top notch and very professional. We laughed, ate tasty meals, had some wine and cigars and all left with great memories and some fish for our freezers.

We just wrapped up our annual trip to Langara Island Lodge, we were the first group of the season. Outstanding service, top shelf guides and boats along with terrific accommodations, meals and the best lodge staff. These guys never disappoint! Oh yeah, the fish... Lots of them this year, many of us limited out and fish were caught on every outing. Many good sized Chinooks and Halibuts were pulled along with Ling Cod and other bottom dwellers. After a few slower years on the west coast it would appear the fish are back in numbers. Biggest Salmon of the week 33.5 lbs, average salmon 15-20 lbs. Truly incredible scenery untouched, uninhabited landscapes that appear as they did when Capt. Cook first sailed into this area in 1778. Thanks again to all of the guides and lodge staff who do an awesome job of making everyone comfortable and ensuring a great experience. See you next year.

For my dad's 65th birthday, we surprised him with a trip to LIL. Luckily for us, we all got to go! From the moment you arrived at the airport to the day you left, everything was better than we could have imagined. The location was outstanding - unforgettable landscapes and animal sightings (eagles, whales, deer, and puffins!). The staff was welcoming, helpful, and always one step ahead of you, knowing just what you wanted. Our guide, CJ, was knowledgeable and helped all of the Wilks catch our first Chinook! He was patient in teaching (many of us first timers!) what to do and how to do it. Every meal was delicious, and the dessert bar kept me coming back for more! A highlight was riding the funicular up and down every day from the dock, and it was very sad to do it for the last time on day 5! No detail was missed this entire trip and it will be one that we will always treasure!

Langara Island Lodge is unquestionably among the finest fishing lodges in the entire northwest, including Alaska. More than the awesome fishing and and starkly beautiful natural beauty that surrounds you at every turn, the attitude of the staff sets Langara Island Lodge apart from its competitors. Being lactose intolerant often causes a problem for me at remote fishing and eco-lodges. Not at Langara Island Lodge. They not only "imported" my favorite non-dairy coffee sweetener, but also my preferred non-butter butter substitute. There was always a gourmet meal prepared just for me. The other guests were an eclectic mix, including one of the Lodge owners and his family. Everyone meshed together comfortably and it was like a happy reunion of strangers. All of the professional fishing guides appeared friendly and super-competent, but I must say that ours (Chopper) was the best! As a professional captain and sportfishing charter operator myself (check out Blue Devil Fishing in Boynton Beach, Florida), I am uniquely qualified to rate the performance of another guide. And Chop was superb! His his seamanship and fishing skills, and personality were fantastic! The Ironwood center console fishing boats were all business. They handled the seas with comfort and security and were exceptionally maneuverable when fighting a powerful fish with no interest in being brought on board. If you want the best in a luxury salmon and halibut fishing lodge, go to Langara Island Lodge anytime during June through early September. We limited out on Chinook and Coho Salmon as well as monster halibut. Caught an official Tyee Chinook as icing on the cake. Without doubt, we are returning next summer.
