I stayed here for 2 nights in the driftwood cottage. The 1st night in the queen with ensuite and the next in the double with bathroom across the hall. Both nights very comfortable in the rooms. Quilts on the beds. A shared full kitchen with coffee. Buy your own groceries and cook as you would at home. Also a BBQ...

We were a group of six women who came to participate in the Totem to Totem run. We booked the Woodland Cottage and it was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We found the deck a very relaxing spot to hang out between our many adventures. The view was unbeatable. The cottage itself was very comfortable and well maintained. We had...

We went during Skidegate Days to do the Totem to Totem, we travelled in a family of 5 and rented the entire Driftwood cottage. It was a bit tricky to park as it is near the top of a very steep hill with a bit of a slanted driveway. The cottage came equipped with everything that was needed (washer/dryer is...

It is always obvious when a place has been lovingly maintained; there is a warmth to the surroundings, a “Welcomeness” that can’t be feigned. Dorothy & Mike’s is that kind of place. The hospitality is authentic. The gardens have seen many hours of care, the rooms are designed for the guest’s convenience and, of great importance, the beds are comfortable....

The cottage we stayed in had been newly renovated. There were 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The beautiful deck looks over the harbour - excellent for morning coffees & evening wines & appetizers. We checked out at 11:00 a.m. And were pleasantly surprised to have Mike knock on our truck window as we waited in line for the 10:00 p.m....

Dorothy and Mike exemplify Canadian hospitality. We had a miscommunication regarding reservations, but it was swiftly resolved and our two nights there were pleasant. Queen Charlotte is a small town in Haida Gwai and they are located in walking distance to every amenity you might require: food, visitor center, fishing and sailing docks, restaurants and bars. Their prices are reasonable...

Dorothy and Mike's was a fantastic guesthouse and I would stay there again. Friendly, relaxed, and the place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The Kumdis room where we stayed was clean and had a sliding door to the deck with a great view of the water. Easy walking distance to everything you need in Queen Charlotte....

We had a very comfortable stay at Dorothy and Mike's. There is a nice deck with a view and sauna. Our suite didn't have view but had everything we needed (full kitchen, ensuite bath). The house doubles as a cat rescue center for the SPCA so there are cats around. Dorothy and Mike try to keep them out if the...

I stayed here (without booking) for one night in Haida Gwaii. It's a funky B&B but the owner obviously cares for the place (the B&B) and Haida Gwaii, and if I had more time, I'd have enjoyed putting down roots here. The other place (unfortunately booked) was Jag's Beanstalk (yummy place to eat). I'd look at that as well.
