Nice rooms, breakfast and dinner options could have been better - seemed limited and not many veg options - I was put up by KLM as delayed flight. Spa Sauna and pool great, nice touch with the sea salt scrub. Staff are friendly, checkin was easy and the bar restaurant serves great hot chocolate.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last year. On arriving this Monday at 12:30 I tried to check in ( never an issue before ) I was informed by the young lady that I had booked using EXPEDIA and there were clean rooms available and it would be a 10€ charge . I know this policy operates at the Rennaisance hotel around the corner but never here. I could understand if NO rooms were available, but to be told I had to pay to go into a room that was clean and ready to take me ( I had booked and paid for ) seemed a bit of a cheek. I refused to be held to ransom, so declined to pay and headed off to work, returning around 18:00 to check in with no problems. The young man booking me in seemed very suprised when I retold my expperience to him, he told me he was completely unaware ofr said early checking in charges.

Good stay even with some small annoying items which were missing (in my opinion) in an executive room. No sleepers, no shower gel in the bathtub container (empty), no refill of the small shower gel given the 1st day in the room (I have been out of shower gel).
On top with the new policy having an empty fridge and having a voucher, we have now to go to the desk, do queuing in order to pick up something. not really nice in my customer view

Went to Steigenberger airport Amsterdam for a weekend trip alone. On my arrival I was told I had to pay €50 just in case I broke anything. The girl at the reception was rude basically if I do not pay €50 i wont be allowed to stay In the hotel (a room which I paid). I have stayed in many hotels before and I have never had to pay such things unless it was city tax. Before leaving I asked the girl at the reception how long it will take to get my money back she said 4 to 7 days. It's now been a whole month and I havent received anything. Every time I e-mail the company there respond is that their having some difficulty. For the fact that I have to email them regadding about my money own money is unprofessional..

The food at the hotel is terrible I had pasta no taste ( thank God I had a small portion ) the pasta in Amsterdam centraal is wayyyyy much better.

The management in the hotel are dishonest and crimina and I will NEVER recommend this hotel to any any of my friends and family. What's the point of having a nice hotel and service is not up to standard and VERY disorganized.

Pre booked room by office, however on arrival reception did not have proper details of booking in system and advised to pay for Breakfast informing it is not covered where as it actually was covered. When insisted that it is booked then Reception agreed. Same story repeated at Breakfast counter next day morning. This could have been avoided!

Special commendation to Truus at the breakfast reception and Milly at the omelettes station, the two of them are always a delight to interact with in the morning and have been so in all my years of regularly coming to this hotel for business.

The breakfast team is always a delight, was so in pre-covid times, and is so today. Although the breakfast selection is very limited due to strict hygienic policies (which is a plus nowadays), the omelettes are a must try!

This is a nice enough hotel with one exception: the bathroom door. It’s frosted glass, a couple of inches too small for the frame, and has no latch. This puts you in the dubious position of having to hold the door closed with your foot, while anyone else in the suite will still have a clear view of exactly what you’re doing. They’ll be able to hear it all too. As you can imagine, after a long international flight there’s nothing more romantic than looking your partner dead in the eye while they exorcise all that airline food from their body. I’m sure it’d be even more thrilling if you were staying here with friends or family. Luckily there’s a phone next to the toilet so you can use your bacteria laden hands to call down to reception and complain during the deed. Comfy bed though.

Really impressed with the service. When we turned up to check in we found we'd made a mistake with the booking dates and that was fixed without any problem. We then asked if a room was available with a particular view and again the answer was Yes without hesitation.
In the Sportsbar/restaurant, dinner was prepared to a high standard, with attentive service from Babet and Suzanne - nothing was too much trouble.
The free shuttle service to/from Schiphol station is also very handy and the drivers are always ready to help with luggage.
Overall, very happy with our experience. This is not the first time we're staying here and it certainly won't be the last!

Every time I come to this hotel, the attention of the hotel staff overcome my expectations.
At the restaurant Heny, Joel and their team mates, takes care of all your request.
The breakfast restaurant staff are amazing!!!!! They are aware of every single detail to take care of you and make you feel very well attended.
These week we have been transported to our business place for Marichelle and always sympathic and professional.
I would like to thanks all of them for their professionalism and excellent attention.

I had low expectations about this hotel and only booked it because it was cheap. It proved to be a minor revelation: very friendly and helpful staff, clean modern room, and an exceptional breakfast (although that is extra). Among other things, omelettes to order, pork and chicken sausages, even honey comb to break off and use with your Dutch pancakes. There is also a very pretty Italian restaurant (although I didn't eat there), a late night bar and a swimming pool. The shuttle to the airport is very prompt. Using it and public transportation out of Schiphol you can get to Amsterdam in 40-60 minutes. An example of the good service: I found a few minor issues with my room, and when I mentioned this to the reception, they not only fixed the problems but gave me a free breakfast to make up for my temporary inconvenience.

Shuttle from the hotel runs frequently. We took it back to the airport and took the train to Central Station in Amsterdam. The trains run frequently and only take about 20 minutes to Amsterdam Central.

It all depends on the hotel. If they are close to the airport, then it could be as soon as 15 minutes between shuttles. Ours was a half-hour between shuttles and it was the Holiday Inn Express by the airport. Best is to call the hotel and they will tell you exactly when their shuttle arrives. The other thing you need to worry about is that there are two places at the airport that the shuttles stop. Make sure you are at the right place!
