We enjoyed such a beautiful and warm experience at L’ Auberge le 112, occupying 3 rooms during our large family trip. Annie and Marc-André are the gracious hosts of this beautiful historic Inn, and they were very welcoming of our large group and our enjoyment of their Inn’s offerings. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and most of all, charming. We enjoyed the veranda looking out at the hilly fields and the gardens, and the relaxing ambiance. Nearby, there is a beautiful river walk, with its picturesque marshes, and a very sweet children’s park. We would definitely highly recommend staying at L’Auberge le 112 and exploring the many delights of the area.

We stayed at Auberge le 112 at the beginning of September. The inn consists of a 3-story historic house and next door 2-story private rooms. We visited both Kamouraska and Riviere-du-Loup, and the inn is ideally located between the 2 towns. The owners are friendly and helpful, and patient when communicating in English since our French is poor. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the house and were grateful to have our luggage carried up for us. Our room had one bed and a spacious bathroom with a deep tub and shower wand, easy for washing up. No A/C but we didn’t need it, nor did we miss watching TV. The house has a sitting room and veranda for guests. A 7.5 km riverwalk is nearby, though the evening mosquitoes chased us away. We loved the breakfasts in perfect and well rounded portions consisting of choices from local foods, homemade strawberry jam, and fresh pressed coffee or tea. An extra carafe of coffee on the buffet meant everyone could be satisfied. There are no other meals served, or drinks, but there is a frig for guests’ use. There are good restaurants in Kamouraska, about 16 km away. Plan your visit so you can drive in daylight and have reservations or stop at the walkup Poissonnerie Lauzier - Bistro de la mer. We bought some provisions there, and across the street at a small grocer, and in St. Andre at a tiny shop. Like in most country villages, places may close early. Our stay at this Auberge was comfortable and relaxing like a country summer day. We loved our visit along the south shore of the St. Lawrence and hope to return some day.

We were looking for a quiet 'pied-a-terre' for our exploration of the Kamouraska area and were not disappointed! Annie and Marc-André are very accommodating hosts in this beautiful (and historic) 10-room inn, always ready to answer questions and help make you feel at home. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable (ours was on the top floor of the pavilion). Continental breakfast is simple but perfect to get you started. Grounds are well-kept with peaceful views everywhere you look (there is a spa tub in a little 'zen zone', lots of spots to sit and contemplate nature, and even a fire pit) The river is across the street and the walking path along it goes on for about 8 kilometres of classic Kamouraska coastal scenes! A charming setting and welcoming hosts!

Our host was really nice and meant well. Helping us with restaurant in the area, nice dining area and fridge to store your food. The room was big, really charming, two baths next to each other in the bedroom. They also had a spa that we didn’t try. Only (-) is that we were on the first floor and the people above us were really loud when walking in their room... not really soundproof.

we escaped the big city to relax at this bed and Breakfast. The river is at a walking distance and there is a long path for hiking along the river, it was beautiful and great . We went in October and most of the restaurants in the area were closed , the high season finished after labor day we had to go 20 miles away (riviere du Loup) to eat ..the room was comfortable and super clean . the bathroom very small and no bathtub.breakfast was great , mostly from local products.the water from the faucet did not taste very good, we got water bottles. There was no tv or phone or fridge. It could have been nice to keep some snacks or drinks in our room .. The hosts Marc Andre and Annie were great ! very kind and friendly . I requested hot teas every night and they provided them in a thermos cup ! very thoughful .

Thank you for your comment, it is very important for us. All our room are different, with diffrent size and design. 4 room are in the ancestral house and 6 in the pavilion. All the batroom are also different, some with shower and other with bath and hand shower. Our guests have access to a refrigerator in the dining room of the ancestral house. The ancestral house includes the reception of the Auberge le 112 but also the dining room, a large living room and the small chapel. Our clients have acces there to various magazines and books. In the dining room, all the dishes, wine glasses, etc. are also accessible to prepare the tasting of your choice.

Our friendly hosts Annie and Marc-André have achieved a remarkable feat in turning this abandoned heritage building into a regional gem; digne d'un phoénix qui renaît de ses cendres! Very clean, spacious and quaint. The continental breakfast is prepared and presented with upmost care and creativity. A heaven for nature photographers, St-André-de-Kamouraska is refreshing with its young artistic community. A true gem which left us dazzled, le 112 has definitely moved up our "destinations we must revisit" list! Merci à nos hôtes; vous mettez "amour" dans Kamouraska! @quintaloha

Thank you to Annie and Marc-André for their warm welcome! My stay was serene. The room in the pavilion was relaxing; hardwood floors, bed linens spotlessly clean, the view to back garden and hills is enchanting. The breakfast was filled with local flourishes; local artisanal breads, home-made jams, croissants, cereals, terrine and cheeses. There is no TV, which added to the peacefulness. When I needed to link to the outside world, the Wifi worked flawlessly. The only downside for me was not having a little fridge in the room to keep some perishables. I definitely plan to return and bring a small cooler. Bravo pour votre superbe auberge, et merci de votre acceuil! Natacha

Beautiful place with loving owners who make you feel at home. Definitely a place I would go back to. Super clean, great service, nice backyard and very close to the center of Kamouraska. Also, for the quality you get, the price is very reasonable.

This restored inn makes the most of its 1850s heritage. Our room was spacious, extremely clean and updated with modern amenities, with well chosen antique accent pieces. Breakfast fare boasts local and fresh, with make your own waffles and artisanal cheeses and breads. Good coffee, too. The fresh salt air reminds us of our beloved Nova Scotia Bay of Fundy. A wonderful walking trail along the river is nearby. No in-room television is both a pro and con (but mostly pro). Innkeepers Annie and Marc-Andre are hands-on and were happy to answer all our questions about the area. The closest restaurant is excellent but is bring your own wine.

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at Auberge 112. Annie and Marc Andre were the perfect hosts. I would highly recommend this Inn. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast ample which included mostly local products. The Inn is close to many recreational and foodie experiences. We should have booked 3 nights!
