Perfect pit-stop halfway between Halifax and Ottawa. A lovely building in a quaint village. Enjoy the hike to the top of 'island' one kilometer to the southwest. Begin by cutting through the parking of the tractor dealership. Nobody seems to mind walkers doing this

An unimpressive facility with terrible food. There are two lodging areas: rooms upstairs in the old house, and small 'motel' chalets. I stayed upstairs in the old house - I should have stayed outside in the newer motel buildings, because the walls are paper-thin upstairs...More

We stopped there on the way out east. There weren't any cottages available, so we stayed in the main house for $85 (100 taxes in) for a two bed, sitting area, private bath room. The bathroom is fairly new, and the flooring is brand new....More
