Michael is a star!! Despite his recent "fall" he was as jovial and pleasant as always. This place is a gem. Where else would you get hot water bottles already in the beds. Breakfast is 5*. The views in a morning are incredible

I stayed recently as I was attending a wedding nearby. I booked last minute, so I didnt really expect much at all. I was very pleasantly surprised! The location is lovely, and Michael was incredibly welcoming; he met me at the door and showed me to my room. The room itself was lovely and spacious, with a very comfortable bed...

We didn't actually stay in the guest house as we were already accomodated in a holiday cottage just down the road. We were so lucky to discover that the proprietor at 'Brandy Bank' took in non residents if he possibly could. My husband Tom and I were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and we were joined by our son Andrew....

We stayed at Brandy Bank for one night before commencing the final day of our St Oswald's Way walk. Our host, Michael, collected us from the day's stopping point, quite some distance from the accommodation. Michael is friendly and helpful, and the Brandy Bank was very comfortable indeed. A much appreciated coffee was served on arrival. Breakfast was the best...

We were made extremely welcome from the moment our host picked us up in his beautiful luxury car at the end of a long day's hiking. The guest house has been carefully converted from a former pub. Our room was extremely comfortable with a lovely bed and lashings of hot water in the shower. Our hosts couldn't do enough for...

We booked here for 1 night as we had tickets for a star gazing session at the Kielder Observatory. We were met by our hosts who took our bags to the room, then advised us of a pub we could have a meal at en route to Kielder. They were aware we wouldn't arrive back until gone midnight, and advised...

We stayed at Brandy Bank for one night as we were attending a wedding in Otterburn and found the place to be fantastic in every respect. Mike and Helen are extremely welcoming and go above and beyond to help. When we arrived there were no taxis available to take us to Otterburn so Mike dropped everything and took us to...

I stayed at the Brandy Bank Guest House for one night with my sister, as we attended a family wedding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Mike and Helen were beyond fantastic. We stayed in a twin room, with a lovely wet room style bathroom, which was beyond expectations. We were unsure what to expect in...
