Everything was clean and cosy. The building is attractive, the rooms comfy, the breakfast good, the owner helpful. Very good value indeed at very affordable rates. There is nothing to not like. I would certainly stay here again.

We spent 4 days at Yellow House Farm West Woodburn for our wedding anniversary and my husbands 70th birthday. Yellow House Farm is set in beautiful countryside and run by Avril. Our room had lovely views and was roomy and very comfortable. Breakfast here will set you up for the whole day, plenty to chose from including fresh fruit, yoghurt,...

Friendly and helpful reception. Lovely bedroom. We had the ?'family suite' and it is huge and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast with eggs from hens raised on the premises. Great place from which to visit Herton at Hartington, Wallington house and walled garden before going on to Alnwick and Hadrian's wall with a quick view of Cambo village - who wouldn't...

My wife and I booked a two night stay here as a treat to ourselves, we usually go off to find new places in our campervan at weekends but thought we would find ourselves a nice cosy place with a nice comfy bed and a proper hot shower instead of 'roughing it'. We were so glad we found this place....

Had read a few reviews on trip advisor and booking.com so was a little apprehensive about the place to stay and the pub. But both were fantastic! Avril was not there when we arrived but had left us a very nice welcome note which was great. The keilder suite room was fantastic, very large and very comfortable with a huge...

My daughter and I stayed at the Yellow House Farm on a short stay discovering the Northumberland National Park. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, with lovely view over the lake and fields. The bacon was the best I have ever had, and scrabbled eggs done perfectly.

We spent a weekend at Yellow House Farm which is less than 5 minutes' walk from the village of West Woodburn on the A68 road, where the 'Bay Horse' serves scrumptious meals all day. At Yellow House, the friendly hostess, Avril, makes lovely breakfasts and uses really fresh eggs from her own free-range hens, so you need nothing more to...

Great location for a B & B, nice and quiet with lovely surroundings. We had 2 of the rooms on the first floor and there were no faults with either room, lovely comfy beds with plenty of space. We had the cooked breakfast and it was yummy :-)

A typical welcoming farmhouse B&B. Very clean room and en-suite, dining area, lounge and stairs. Avril obviously works hard. There is a lovely great big lounge area. I wish I had gone at a warmer time of the year, and spent time in there with the patio doors open. Scenary is beautiful, it is pitch dark at night, and there...
