We were originally booked in for two nights but due to a family issue had to reduce it to one night. Although we had pre-paid, we were not charged for the second night. No quibble, which was nice. The hotel is ideally placed to see the southern Peaks. It is tucked away and very quiet with nice grounds. The decor...

Looking for a good hotel in Ashbourne we were lucky enough to spot the sign for Callow Hall. Everything was excellent from the price of the room, the friendliness of all of the staff, cleanliness and the food - we spent 2 nights here and would highly recommend it.

Difficult to find any fault. Great food (perfect scones!), lovely view and really nice staff - helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. Callow Hall is also a beautiful location, both inside and out.

We had my daughters wedding here 5th November. It was AMAZING!! The venue is an exquisite Hall with loads of character. It is kept to a very high standard , with a very laid back, homely feel. The staff are helpful, respectful and very approachable - nothing was too much trouble. The photos have been amazing so far (still the...

All though we only live 20 miles away we had never been before, it was a wonderful setting, nice and warm, great service and wonderful food. The countryside looked wonderful on a cold autumnal day. Should imagine that this is a great wedding venue what ever the time of year.

We stayed in Room 3 (Edward) last Sunday on a DB+B package and had a wonderful time. We had earlier spent the day cycling along the Tissington Trail and as the bike hire place is so close to Callow Hall, we cycled to the hotel to have a look. It's a beautiful old house, set in the most beautiful of...

A beautiful country house hotel with tall ceilings and lots of antiques. The views of the countryside were amazing. We slept very well in a quiet room at the back of the hotel . The staff were welcoming and friendly. Make sure you eat dinner here as they have a very talented chef!

We stayed at seven hotels during our recent holiday and this was the second most expensive ... with probably the smallest room ... the view out of which was a shed (lovely). Dinner was served in a pleasant room ... which was deathly quiet. Until that is a small group of people arrived ... who spent the evening discussing cows...
