Friendly owners and clean comfortable guest room. Excellent breakfast. Nice to learn some of the local history. Easy to find. Lots of books on local history. Right off sea wall so great for walks. Recommendations for activities and restaurants.

We stayed with Chris and Gordon for one night prior to our Inside Passage Ferry Trip to Prince Rupert. They are excellent hosts and Chris even provided us with some afternoon snacks and a delicious dessert. Our take away breakfast the following morning was so plentiful that we had enough food for lunch as well. The suite itself was lovely with the added bonus of a microwave oven, washing machine and dryer. Chris even drove us to the ferry very early in the morning, which was greatly appreciated. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

We had the most amazing time here! Chris picked us up from the airport and drove us safely to her B&B, which is set on the waterfront with a fantastic view. Bald eagles in abundance! The apartment, attached to the house, is immaculately clean and well appointed. Everything you need is provided for! The breakfasts are superb, fresh fruit, pancakes, French toast etc and the most delicious Balkan yogurt. Chris and Gord were the perfect hosts. So very, very friendly and accommodating! We were blown away by our visit. However, on our way home from a 4 day trip to Compton Island, Chris spotted us arriving in Telegraph Cove on the water taxi and offered us a lift back to Port Hardy! Pure coincidence!! We had lunch together where we chatted over British comedies and Gord's amazing career as a specialist paramedic and firefighter. Chris and Gord then drove us back to Port Hardy! Now that is just the most exceptional and demonstrative friendliness you can get!! We could not recommend Telco House enough, just perfect! Much love to Chris, Gord and Brodie! You are the epitome of wonderful Canadians! Can't wait to come back, love Alyson n Karen xx

A beautifully appointed 1 bedroom apartment. Perfectly situated with gorgeous sea views. A few steps walk to the beach. Another short walk along the beach front takes you to the town. Chris and Gord are exceptional hosts which is why this was our 3rd visit . The breakfasts are delicious. The front deck is a sun trap and a lovely place to while away the hours with a coffee or later a wine. Highly recommended but book early, this place is popular.
