I stayed in the B&B section of the hostel - beautiful home with a very welcoming owner - Anne. Very helpful and informative - really enjoyed the experience , a lovely stay. The hostel section is convenient for the bus station and ferry passengers are met by a shuttle that drops at this place.

Friendly staff and a good kitchen, Our stay was only short and we had to check out at 5.30am to catch a ferry. This was no problem and our stay was good. Shared bathroom was clean and the water hot. Pt Hardy is a pretty little town.

Even though we arrived on a early Sunday morning from the ferry the hostes organised in no time a room for us! We were well received and found the hostel a great place for a stop of some days after great travels and hikes in central and north Vancouver Island! The hostel has a wide variety of clean rooms, reasonably...

After a long bus trip it was wonderful to be greeted by such a happy friendly couple, Rob showed us our rooms which was one of a few that ran off a large family room with a magnificent view and kitchen......The kitchen had every gadget you could want and all spotlessly clean. We booked a Family Room for our family of 4 during the summer for a couple of nights, and found this to be the best deal of our entire trip. Only $69 for the four of us, close to the Harbor Pier and Walkway, playground for the kids, and a great cafe just below us. The kitchen was well equipped,...

We arrived late on the ferry and were very tired. We anticipated having to wake somebody up to check us in, but were so pleased to find the lights on and the staff waiting for us. Rob and Anne have done a nice job making this a great place to stay. We'd stay again in a minute.

Although we were warmly welcomed, our stay was only average as the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the common room unusually large and friendly. Unfortunately there were four beds placed right outside our bedroom and with ferry traffic arriving around midnight in the summer, it can be busy and noisy.

Stayed 2 nights in Orca Suite. The kitchen is fully equipped. It looks like a house with a couple of rooms. It was quiet and people were friendly. Anne did great job to keep the house clean. Located in heart of Port Hardy downtown. Good value, good location.

Our first impression was favorable as the owners were nice and the empty upstairs seemed quiet, the bathroom was spotless. On closer inspection our bedroom floor was dirty, the comforter under the bedspread had long hairs on it, and while sitting there a huge bug crawled across it towards me! We were just spending the night to catch the early...

Stayed here in late June and loved it. Anne & Rob were friendly and helpful and the place was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and it was everything you could ask for in a hostel. Compared to everywhere else in town it is great value for your money in Port Hardy. Not sure I'd stay anywhere else.
