I was looking for a cheap place to stay for a night. This was the cheapest place I could find. The place was clean and the lady at the front dest was great and helpful. The room I had was big. the place was built in the 70s or early 80s and has not been worked on. There was no...

We arrived late and left early in the morning to catch a ferry. Needs updating. Noisy. Staff seems to have to be front Desk and responsible for vacuuming. The rooms need to spruced up somewhat to make the stay more welcoming. As has been mentioned you get what you pay for. DONT have high expectation.

Our brief overnight stay here was without a lot of flourishes but our stay was restful. We left very early to catch the ferry but I must say we were not disappointed with the hotel, it's staff, and the extras. The room included all the essentials like fridge, microwave, coffee pot, etc. The cool weather and fan made up for...

This place is ok. Don't have high expectations but for a nights sleep you can't go far wrong. Room could have been cleaner. Good location for some nice breakfasts . Expect better value than others in port hardy. Would probably stay again.

First, I'll admit, it was a last minute booking with others in town being filled. Reception had an attitude that we were really bothering her. While it was hot out, there were no fans, the windows had no screening to keep bugs out but, hey, it was cheap. Very dated everything.

Outdated, but if people would read reviews they would know this before complaining about it. Staff are amazing, and room was clean. 15/10 would definitely stay here again. Wifi was phenomenal and the housekeepers were super friendly with helping me out with extra coffee and etc.

Needs some severe updating. Rented two rooms, one did not have a bathroom. How is this possible? They were adjoining rooms and meant to be the "family room" that could sleep 8. So one bathroom, 8 people. Beds were uncomfortable and wanted to sleep fully clothed. Probably original carpeting. There is a sign in the room saying no hair dying...

We stayed here two nights and I would definitely recommend it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. The place was quiet. I talked with the staff and they are working hard to make Providence Place into a nice hotel and I believe they are succeeding well. The cost for a room was a great value....

Don't expect the Hilton here. The property and grounds are run down and very much in need of some simple upgrades. A bucket catching a leak from the ceiling sat in the hallway outside our door for 3 days without attention from maintenance. Rooms are modest but clean enough and thoughtfully furnished with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Would...

Because of the BC Ferries, it's sometimes difficult to find a good hotel or B&B available in Port Hardy. That was our situation. Only Providence Place seemed to have rooms available. It is very plain with limited facilities. Wi-fi was flaky and slow, no carpets, wooden floor was dirty, no breakfast or coffee, no pictures etc. Wouldn't stay there again....
