This is a church-based low-income residence peddling rooms on the side for exorbitant fees. At least the sheets appeared clean.

We stayed here because they were a pet friendly inn. The staff were outgoing, helpful & attended to our requests quickly. The room was very old, no electric socket in the bathroom. The tv kept blacking out and in an unsafe part of town. The carpet was filthy & the bathroom floor had not been washed. We found a fake fingernail under the bed & a big spider on top of the bed. It is too bad the rooms were horrible because the staff were great.

In my partner and I's five night stay, we changed rooms three times because of problems, mainly with the bathroom plumbing and electrical service. More bathroom fixtures require replacing since they have exceeded their useful life span. Taps bang when turned on. At one time there was no hot water. Amenities vary greatly from room to room. There should be more consistency.
Rooms lacked plugs for bathrooms sinks.
No full kitchen units are offered.
The staff was very helpful and with working through the difficulties of the establishment.

We were staying only one night, getting in late and leaving early. Thought no need for something special.
The place smells old and damp when you arrive.
Our room was not clean, years of wear and tear, dust and not sure sheets had even been changed in the one bed, so slept together in the double.

Check in was efficient and friendly.

One of the lesser expensive, older, and plainer hotels in town - but very clean with a very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for the money and very convenient to restaurants and the waterfront. Many other ferry riders overnights here - including motorcyclists like us.

The hotel/motel is old, but the room was good enough for one night if you don't expect too much. However, it was quite expensive compared with other motels like this during our trip through the U.S. and Canada. And the free WiFi only worked in the hallway, in our room the WiFi was bad or gone.

we booked this hotel one night prior to passage to Prince Rupert by ferry. It would not take too much to clean this place up. It was unclean and the lady at the desk on check in told us that we could get a great packed lunch in the morning prior to departure on the ferry. Also she informed us we would receive a wake up call. We had wanted to store our fish in their freezer as well. In the morning there was no one around..no place to pick up a lunch..no wake up call and locked up tight. I would not stay again.

This place is a dump. Don't stay here. You will regret it. The room was filled with 3rd hand smoke, the bed was rock hard, the pillows lumpy, no flat screen tv, no real shower curtain, no real value. Even for $69.95 it's a ripoff. You would be better off buying three of the beautiful artwork pics on the wall and sleeping in your car.

We needed somewhere for 1 night after arriving on the ferry from Prince Rupert and web searches didn't throw up a lot of choice. The hotel feels like a motel; large room, with fridge (worth turning off!), microwave and basic bathroom. Had a good night's sleep and good breakfast with "real" porridge. The big plus is that the Island Link Express Bus picks up at the front door.

Port Hardy is basically the end of the line, north on Vancouver Island.. there is not a lot of choice of hotels, and that’s why this very ugly hotel charges way TOO MUCH ! But do yourself a favour and pay even more to stay somewhere else..
It was extremely rundown, bare and smelly, very big but empty basic room and an old bathroom with thin, tiny dirt spotted bath towels, also no coathangers - the corridors flooring was dirty. I think they are renovating with all the noise that started early in the morning
We also had drunks hanging around outside our window.
..you know your not alone in your thoughts when the talk between patrons at a local venue for dinner was how bad the hotel was !

Sorry I can not correctly answer this. The room we had you had to go up and down about 3 or 4 steps. I would suggest contacting the hotel itself. Good Luck
