This place is absolutely gem. Probably one of the nicest places I have stayed. The bed and pillows are so soft and cozy, the staff is friendly & accommodating. The manor itself is beautiful and has a Victorian inn vibe. The food at the restaurant was incredible. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a classic manor not a hotel. There are no TV's or landlines in the rooms. Instead there is a guest lounge which is a quiet pleasant room with a serine view of a pasture that has rescue horses. A place where coffee, tea, games are available 24/7. (Internet is also available). If you want a true escape from media and be surrounded with the most wonderful authentic decor that takes one back in time, this place is for you. Classic furniture, painting, tapestries and antiquities. The staff are most professional and polite. The restaurant is amazing with wonderful menus.

Beautiful quiet location on Galiano Island. Rooms are all lovely, especially on ground floor. Food is excellent. Lovely breakfast. Hospitality is first class. Lots of walking paths to discover. Closed during winter months.

We had a lovely stay in the August. The Woodstone is located a very short drive from the Ferry, close to a couple of food trucks and small grocery stores. Roxie was very helpful when we called ahead of time to tell her about our son's bad pet allergy--she called another guest booked in a pet-free room and asked if they would switch rooms with us, which they kindly accommodated. Rooms are fair sized, well maintained and clean. We had a beautiful view of the valley. Nice common area/games room to relax and hang out. We liked it so much that we booked again in the fall and again had another wonderful experience.

A very elegant house with nicely appointed rooms and restaurant. We were there in July of 2022 when there were staff shortages as the result of the Covid pandemic and the restaurant was closed during our time there, except for the breakfasts. The breakfasts were first rate. We were there to tour Galiano Island and we found Woodstone to be the perfect place to retreat to after a long day of driving and hiking. The owners/management were most accommodating and provided useful tips as to where to go and what to see.

There are staffs in here that are trying real hard to give guests good experience. The place is grand. We were given a room less glamoros than the price we paid for. We were cycling and exhausted. Just took the room and slept and checked out

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Woodstone Manor in late August 2022. It is nestled in the woods with stunning views across open pasture where rescue horses graze. We were traveling with our labradoodle, Finley (who we regard as our furry son), and we were delighted to find this dog-friendly boutique hotel. For our friendly, well-trained pup, this hotel was paradise. Roxy went out of her way to accommodate Finley’s dietary needs (freezer space needed for raw food) and he was welcome on the gorgeous restaurant patio. The mini fridges in the rooms are high-quality, and were able to keep our refrigerator items very cold. We loved the little trail network in the woods right outside the hotel, which was perfect for morning and evening walks. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, making it the perfect place to rest after a wonderful day out hiking. Everything is close by (5-15 minute drive to the best of the island). Our room was gorgeous, and we felt like Roxy had thought of every little detail; the rooms and common areas were truly to a high standard. Everything was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The chefs were excellent, and all the food we enjoyed at the restaurant was delicious. We especially enjoyed the specialty dinner event at the restaurant featuring California wine pairing, hosted by the hotel’s own sommelier. The upstairs lounge overlooking the pasture was also lovely, complete with a tea and coffee station (and books and games!). We would definitely have used the lounge, had we had a rainy day. Honestly, we never would have expected to enjoy such a high-end holiday with our pup, but Woodstone (aka Woofstone) made it happen.…

Dinner with quality food and nice service and a great ambience the amount of each order left you wanting to eat more if you could but almost impossible to eat it all as good and fresh as it was. Definitely a place to get to but make reservations it gets booked very quickly
