We chose to visit here because the iconic beauty of the hotel and environs. We were expecting what we have found in older hotels of this era so we're not surprised by small bathrooms (like in Europe), creaky floors and renovations. But we were very pleased that none of this detracted but added instead to the charm and intimacy of...

We got a chance to go inside the Prince of Wales Hotel and walk around the grounds to enjoy the magnificent view. The inside is rustic, elegance. The staff was very welcoming. The gift shop was a busy place. It can be very windy on the top of that mountain. We did see a bear on our way to the...

This hotel was clean but rooms are quite expensive for what you get. Views are great. Everything needs some work. Shower had mildew stains at the joints. No tv. Only the bell man can work the elevator do you need to wait or walk the stairs. Just not worth what you pay in my opinion.

When I saw a photo pf this hotel online, I just knew I had to stay there. So we did. Built in the 1920's, the architecture and woodwork is amazing. It sits at the end of Waterton Lake with a commanding view of the area. Although the bathroom is very outdated yet true to its origins, it was totally adequate....

Only cared about the view, but also very friendly and lovely inside! Incredible location and history. Just wanted to enjoy the lobby, restaurant and general area for the scenic views. Town of Waterton was also lovely and so enjoyable. Canada offers many community amenities and free Wi-Fi.

This hotel looks incredible and it overlooks the village. The front lobby is spectacular and the the chandeliers are impressive. The view from the enormous window Overlooking the village is breathtaking. The bad The elevator is poor and requires an employee to run it. You basically walk up the stairs. We were in the 4th floors, so it was tiring....

Beautiful location, and I mean beautiful! Rooms obviously older and dated. Seemed clean but some disrepair, especially in bathroom. Did I mention the picturesque location? Easy to overlook the lack of luxury when the surroundings draw you outdoors. Nearby some great hiking and wildlife abounds!

I cannot ask more than having this spectacular view from my room. I am on the fifth floor. The elevator only goes up to the forth. I knew ahead of time so I packed a small bag for one night stay. It is very windy out there and I can feel a cold draft from the windows. I can hear...

As indicated by others, the Prince of Wales hotel is marvelous. It is old, iconic and represents a by-gone era. Perched on the hill, we felt the grandeur and ghosts of another time. Cool. That said, the rooms are small and there is no sound damping between them. We heard every step taken by others next to and above us....

We stayed at the hotel for two nights in July 2016 and for the price it really is qvery poor value. The hotel appears to be run by college kids with very mixed skills. The bedrooms are not sound proofed at all. Any noise made by the neighbouring room can be heard very distinctly . We were kept awake by...
