We had a room that had two rooms in it each with a queen bed. It was comfortable and charming, a good price and close to everything. The receptionist was mildly friendly although she seemed to be tired. Strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. It was booked the entire time we were there

We had researched the motel in advance, so we knew to expect an old-fashioned 50's style motel, very small room & bathroom. We had planned not to spend much time in the room so it was fine. We must have been lucky because we did not have noisy neighbors. Very easy to walk every place in the town & easy... More

Waterton is fairly expensive because of its remote locale. We were looking for the least expensive, decent pet friendly place. Bear Mountain fit the bill. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our standard room was immaculately clean. It was also as described by others: a 1950's motel with a small bathroom. Not a problem for us because we sometimes... More

We felt that this was a good choice for our stay in Waterton - the location is great, room was a good size (kitchenette/bedroom in front & separate bedroom in back), kitchenette was well equipped (although a newer fry pan would be a plus), sheets & towels were good, it was very clean, and beds were comfortable. Noise from next... More

This is a very convenient place to stay while visiting Waterton. Place was very clean, had a stove and refrigerator. Within walking distance to whole town. Reasonably priced. We were happy to have stayed here. Place is small, but if your in Waterton, you're only going to sleep here, there is too much to do in the park!! Wifi is... More

Beds were comfortable but the room was cold and drafty and the heating unit was loud. You could also here the people talking in the room beside through the bathroom wall. The room seemed very dated and in need of a re-vamp. Easy access to walk to the center of town or the lake shore.

We enjoyed the convenient location of this place. We were able to walk to restaurants and to the boat dock for our hike to Crypt Lake. The room was small but sufficient. Cute kitchen equipped with the essentials, comfortable bed, tv with a handful of channels, coffee and tea in the office. The nights were chilly, but we were warm... More

Best part of this place was the pleasant check in. I messed up my reservation and the lady on the front desk was very helpful in finding me a place in Cardston as Waterton was full. Room was $130 and very very small. The bathroom was equally small. But as we were not spending much time in the room it... More

They tell you right up front that there is no insulation between rooms in this hotel. That is really an understatement as the masonry walls conduct the sound between the rooms. We could hear every word or our neighbors conversations as well as the toilet flushing and the water running. It goes without saying this is quite annoying at times.... More

Stayed in Waterton with my parents and boyfriend and we didn't want to spend a ton of money just to sleep. Bear mountain was affordable, clean and the perfect spot to stay for the night. The staff was friendly and the suite style rooms were great for families.
