Thank god we relaxed there. Went to rock water secret cove. Waste of time and precious money. Your place was outstanding! The views,the cleaning ladies so friendly,location! Ed and Elaine seemed like old friends...i am back in Seattle smiling knowing there will be a yearly trip to seabreeze.

This is one great place! We stayed there for a week in the campground . The owners are exceptional , the cabins are great, well maintained ,just great! Access to the ocean is great With Powell river and Lund close by a trip to town is easy

The views are great and you're practically right on the beach which was awesome. There were three of us renting a two bedroom cabin. There was no shampoo or conditioner and no blow dryer. Luckily I brought my own blow dryer. The little bars of shampoo were broken. No coffee or tea but there was a coffee maker and filters. The beds are really old and very uncomfortable. Bedding looked like it was from the seventies and the curtains in our room were very light material with an orange and blue flowery pattern on them. If you need the room dark, this is not the place for you. Rooms were very tiny. You couldn't get past one another around the closet area. No dressers in bedrooms. The chair at the kitchen table had crumbs of bread on from the last guest I'm assuming. No garbage cans in the bedrooms. I'm guessing there was no room. Shower door was really hard to close and just when I thought it was closed it popped open and we had water on the floor. Table and chairs in kitchen all needed some paint or varnish on them. Sofa was so soft it felt like I was almost sitting on the floor. They had one nice chair with footstool but the rest of the furniture I would have donated. The patio had nice loungers and because we were on the upper floor, nice views. It was quite hot when we visited but the room seemed to be cool in the evening. That was nice. I'm not sure if it's always like that as there were no air conditioners or fans. We were gone for a good part of the day so didn't explore the property but it looked like they had a trail for a walk and the ocean right there would be nice to stroll along. I would not stay there again. They are also a good twenty minutes or more from Powell River so if you didn't bring coffee or food with you , you had a fair ways to drive to get something.

Most of our customers know that we have rental cottages we are not a hotel. We have coffee/tea packages available in the office for those who come in off the highway for a one night stay. There is a store within walking distance, but I truly feel by the sound of your letter you would prefer being close to a city or town with a Delta Hotel to satisfy your comforts.

I didn't know that you can not accommodate someone just because she has a baby.
I was trying to book a suite for 1night and told them about my situation that I have a baby. Elaine suggested that I should just stay in the campsite with friends just because my baby might disturb the other guest from the upper suite.But doesn't care if my baby will keep crying at night in the campsite and disturb our neighbours.

Dear Jenn, there is some misunderstanding here. You are camping for one night with a large group of campers in the campground and you wanted one night in our suite #9. Our experience with large groups in the camp ground and one rental, the campers tend to congregate at that unit, being waterfront, which is somewhat unfair to the other cottage guests. We stayed for 3 nights with 4 family members. Came to Powell River to visit other family members. As we weren't renting for a whole week unfortunately we only were able to rent one of the two properties at the top of the resort. I would definitely recommend staying in one closer to the water although they are also more expensive. The ones closer to the water look stunning (they showed us around later). Our place had all the amenities needed (we cooked a couple of dinners) with 2 bedrooms (one had a double bed and bunk bed) and 2 sofabeds. It's definitely dated and a bit run down and needs a lot of refreshing and tlc but was good enough for our needs. From the patio we could see the water and a gorgeous view which was less than 1 minute walk. The beach is wonderful (quiet but pebbly and a bit seaweedy rather than sandy)- walk to the right if possible as there is a sandy beach towards the right which is swimmable. Reasonably priced for 4 people and cheaper than renting a few rooms in Powell River itself and a gorgeous place to chill. Wifi access was excellent and streamed netflix without any problems. A bit out of the way - it takes about 15 min to drive into town. Will come back for a week to rent one of the ones by the water.

My wife and I stayed in the #9 cabin which is underneath one of the ocean front cabins. We decided on it as it was close to the ocean and seemed cozy. Unfortunately, the loud footsteps above us plus the sliding screen door was drowning out the sounds of nature. We did not have much privacy either with the upstairs and next door neighbours and children popping over. The "hot plate" was not very hot but they do have a microwave. All tap was black one day with no alternative or apology offered. We did not get any housecleaning for the entire 9 days that we stayed.
That being said, the views and location are beautiful.

We are sorry your holiday was not up to your expectations. You were informed this suite was part of cottage 8 and usually rented by the night or used as a granny suite, but you obviously liked the waterfront location and booked it for the week anyway. We are not a Hotel, cottages are rented out by the week, there is no maid service. There is a laundry on site. We talked to you during your stay and asked how you were enjoying your holiday and got positive responses from you. We wish you had been up front with us so we could have rectified the complaints. Seabreeze is a special place and we have lots of return customers, it is a shame your experience was negative. We hope you will give us another chance by staying in a more private cottage. Thanks for your input.

We spent three nights at the Seabreeze and it was fantastic! The cabins are right on the beach. You just have to walk off the lawn and you are on the beach. It was so quiet and peaceful. There is a family of resident bald eagles that were fascinating to watch. Our cabin was spotless, the beds very comfortable. the full kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pot and pans, plates and such. it was such a idyllic and restful getaway. We highly recommend it.
