8 of us (4 pairs) rented accommodation at Sea Breeze Lodge. We spent the week plein air painting and exploring the island. What enhanced the experience so much was the ability to get together and share a meal that was prepared by a different pair each night. The cabins are well appointed with a covered veranda that allowed us to... More

If you want a west coast rustic oceanfront wedding venue this place has it.Newly constructed lodge after the fire is great.Excellent views ,very good ambience pleasant staff, good food. It is rustic overall and one caveat is to get to and from Hornby is quite a chore in itself with multiple ferries and takes considerable time etc Chill and relaxing though... More

Families have been coming here for decades, that's the proof in the pudding of how incredible this family resort is. The cabins are a bit rustic (bathrooms are small) but perfect for a vacation that includes all meals. The porches are large and are perfect for hanging out with family and friends, observing the beautiful scenery. It is located on... More

I attended a wedding in June, staying 2 nights in a cabin. The lodge where the reception was held is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful venue. The staff were, without exception, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful. The western view allows for spectacular sunsets. Almost all the cabins are on the rise facing the water. The cabins... More

As far as island hopping goes Hornby Island is one of the easiest to get to, a few hours from Vancouver will get you to this little piece of BC paradise. Sea breeze is a small collection of "near" waterfront lodges that offers lots of green open space, playing grounds and water views. The good: - spectacular water views -... More

I have recently returned from a delightful weekend for a friends wedding at the Seabreeze Lodge on Hornby island and wanted to comment on how much I enjoyed the place. The main draw is the scenery which was breathtaking, the sunset was one of the best I have ever seen! Despite the rain on the actual day of the wedding... More

Like many other reviewers, we are repeat guests at the Sea Breeze Lodge--and for good reasons. Hornby very special and the Sea Breeze Lodge is an excellent place to stay. You'll find that other reviewers have shared so many of the great things about Hornby--the hiking, the beaches, the fabulous shoreline, the swimming--and about the lodge too--the terrific location, the... OK, I'll come clean: I've been coming to Sea Breeze since I was a young kid back around 1962. What I remember from back then are going on exciting "hay rides" down to Whaling Station Bay, and exploring amazing tidal pools on the expansive sandstone beach in front of the resort...and, of course, the little red-headed girl I played with...
