We stayed here on the recommendation of friends who know Hornby very well and were so glad we did. We had three nights in cabin 3...a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen and all the amenities one could wish for. One of the best parts about staying there is that all the cabins and the Lodge itself offer stunning views...and one is steps from the water. On our last morning we woke up to high winds and soaring eagles - it was stunning to spend time on the deck watching them catching the drafts. We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and the food was very good and very reasonably priced. Be sure to order the fries — they are to die for - quite seriously!!! Some of the best we have ever had. The four of us enjoyed them so much that we could not finish our main courses. Lovely service and friendly staff as well. Our cabin did not have a fireplace but some of them do. We would go back in a heart beat.

Wow wow wow
I don’t think I have ever experienced the level of customer service at any hotel before. I was visiting for my besties wedding and we had the entire lodge to ourselves, the views were spectacular and the lodge was such a perfect venue.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request and made sure to treat us like “family”. Jack was the most amazing bartender he was super knowledgeable about the island and was like a personal tour guide. I would highly recommend this place as the best wedding venue and would also be perfect for a family retreat.
The food was also amazingly well done with lots of local flare! This place is the most amazing hidden gem! I will be coming back :)

The scenery is what you pay for, but be careful about inflated expectations about the cabins themselves. Ours had two rickety chairs and a tiny dining table with just two wine glasses and three forks. Not exactly well equipped for a four-person unit. Also there’s no TV, which is probably a good thing, and the tacky fake fireplace on the wall didn’t work. Staff were pleasant and responded to our concerns however. The hot tub is nice but the sauna is the size of a broom closet. Still, a great getaway.

We were married at the Sea Breeze in September and it was incredible. The lodge is stunning with views out of this world. The food and cocktails were unbelievable. The cabins are cozy, clean, and have the view. Stephen, Suzie, Carlyn, and the rest of the team were world-class, especially given the challenges we faced with COVID-19. They were always focused on what was best for us while ensuring safety for all. We highly recommend for a wedding, getaway or meals. Looking forward to going back soon!

Our reservation was unfortunately lost with a new software program. Jeff, one of the owners went above and beyond to fix things. We were treated to some speciality cocktails and snacks while he was finding us somewhere to stay. The resort was lovely but booked solid. We were moved into a 4 bedroom beach front home complete with amazing view and hot tub. The difference in cost was taken care of by the owners. We returned on the Saturday night for dinner in the restaurant and were once again treated extremely well. The service, the atmosphere and the food were all wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

For us this is always the best place to go, Jeff and his crew are outstanding starting with a warm smile. They will go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing stay. Sitting on the porch enjoying a glass off wine or early coffee is just one of the highlights. If you haven't been you need to put it on your priority list. See ya in the spring Wayne and Barb

I took the family to Sea Breeze for 10 days. We had a great stay.

The restaurant serves excellent food, just as good as you would get in downtown Vancouver. Unusual for the island. The Tuna Tataki was very good.

Staff are very freindly. You get the vibe that you are part of the family. It's family run.

Our cabin was dog friendly and had a fireplace.

I was a bit worried about the wifi but there was no issue at all. We had a clear signal in Cabin 15 even though we're on the edge of the property.

There is a private beach out front and a playground that the kids loved. The hot tub was closed due to COVID health order but you can't win them all.

I reccomend Sea Breeze. We will return.

The staff at Seabreeze felt like family by the end of our wedding. We adore them and are so honoured and grateful for them and their incredible venue. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the entire weekend. From the location, the food, the accommodations, to the heartwarming and kind staff… it was all above and beyond our dreams and expectations. We will cherish this place, these people and our wedding memories forever!

"Luxury accommodation" with "excellent rates".Absolutely not! My cabin was dirty with bugs both dead and alive, and had chipped kitchen dishes, a broken bedroom window blind. And there were no amenities offered.
"Harmonious with nature"/"peaceful"/"tranquil"/"relaxing" ???? Hours/days with the sound of chainsawing, and the smell of burning garden waste - with allergies very concerning. Unfortunately maintenance of property seems more important than guest comfort. And a VERY POOR response by owner to concerns.

So terribly sorry for the bad experience of this reviewer. We do schedule property maintenance when our occupancy is low. We did have an excavator in to clear some shrubs in October when the ground was still dry from summer weather. Next time please state your concerns to us as soon as they arise and we can move you to a more peaceful location. As for those darn bugs....that is country living! No excuses for the chipped dishes or the broken blind but thank you for bringing them to our attention so we can replace them. Thank you.

I'm here with my family in the winter time and we are having an excellent stay. What can I say? the food is very good the service is top notch and friendly.

The view from our cabin is stunning and the view from the hot tub is even better. I was worried about the Wi-Fi in my cabin but we are in cabin number 7 and the Wi-Fi's solid.

This is very good value I don't know what the prices are cheaper in the winter but it's a great deal and we will be back plus the island is excellent if your engine nature and doing outdoorsy things there's so much to do.

I think they do a lot of weddings here in the summer.

A big thank you to Jeff and all the staff here they made us feel very welcome.
