Travellers' Choice
Our Country House Hotel sits in 4 acres of rolling countryside with magnificent views over the Black Mountains & Brecon Beacons. We have recently added [February 2019] the upgraded and refurbished "Country Collection" to our room stock, which are king sized, with individual designs and stunning views over the glorious Herefordshire countryside. The kitchen uses fabulous local produce on their extensive menus to create mouthwatering, freshly cooked dishes. There is a full Gluten Free menu and other dietary needs are well catered for. Plentiful free parking, hi speed broadband & a friendly team of staff make the Pilgrim the Hotel of choice for the Wye Valley & Herefordshire.

My company having failed to secure me a hotel room for the week in Hereford,a search found this little jewel outside town on the Ross Road,Much Birch,The Pilgrim hotel and Restaurant. Friendly Receptionist,,rooms spacious and clean, great views from the windows and a fairly wide takeaway menu, meals cooked and delivered hot to your room, reasonably priced, All in all a pleasant place to stay, will revise my booking for the rest of the month.

Just returned from a 2 day break at the Pilgrim Hotel. Beautiful setting with rolling countryside views. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. With great food and a cosy bar. Afternoon tea was sensational with proper cups and saucers-lovely. The chicken tikka masala is a must have!! Beautifully clean throughout, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommend

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We wanted to do some walking and managed to download a few beautiful walks in the villages near to Pilgrim Hotel. A lovely full English breakfast each morning set us up for the day. I am so glad we did an upgrade to have a slightly larger room and the most beautiful views looking out on to the Herefordshire countryside at the back of the hotel. We ate in the bar both nights and enjoyed excellent fresh home cooked food. Also decent draft beer (real ale) and cider were available. The Lamb Rogan Josh Curry was superb. Our room was very clean and well serviced. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Pilgrim Hotel is a good base to explore Hereford and Ross on Wye.
