Arrived late afternoon after being at Ingleton Waterfalls. Amazing service, beautiful freshly cooked food…and the hand wash smells amazing! Staff were really friendly and attentive. We would definitely come again and would love to stay over at the hotel. From Sarah & Mollie, Liverpool.

Enjoyed lunch at the plough, had the chicken which was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious. All of the staff were lovely and friendly very attention only fault was that we were slightly distracted by about 5 staff members around the bar area chatting very loudly other than that it was a lovely experience.

Stopped off for lunch on way back from a weekend in Yorkshire. Dog friendly. Staff really on the ball dead friendly and super fast service. Food was lovely. Good quality, came out hot and cooked perfect. I had the Seabass and my partner the burger. Looking forward to never visit :)

Booked well in advance for a lovely dog friendly meal for a special occasion. Staff were on the ball and very polite at all times. Each of our meals came out together and not a single thing to complain of..it was all cooked to perfection. The bar was well stocked with a nice array of beverages to suit all tastes. The coffee was a tad medioca but then again I am a coffee snob so you can probable ignore my comment on that. Excellent parking and totally enjoyable venue.

I love the Plough. The food, the staff and the atmosphere are all great. The restaurant is spacious and very comfortable and the tables are well separated. Today’s meal hit the spot and the chef’s special roast lamb was delicious and beautifully presented. Portions are generous too. Very highly recommended.
