Only stayed one night. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was a little like a double edged sword. The room and the bathroom were beautiful and very large. The only fault, and is only a minor issue, is the room overlooks the A65 which makes the room a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. Did...

Visited for a birthday meal - we were quite disappointed with the whole experience. The bar man seemed more interested in chatting up a girl at the end of the bar and had to ask several times what the drinks order was - obviously not listening! Husband ordered the steak (which at £26 should have been good) however it was...

We went here with friends for Sunday lunch, it was lovely and spacious and some of the décor is quite quirky. The service was very good, the food was excellent, and the sauvignon blanc was beautiful. I just wish I lived a bit nearer so I could go more often.

Lovely small place, great staff and very good food. We stayed one night bedroom was large very well designed with lovely bathroom. We were warned about the kitchen fan being near our room. It was noisy but we were told it would be switched off by 10.30pm and intact it went off at 9.10pm. The food was lovely and the...

We took some visitors from London (who are used to good restaurants) and they were very impressed - as were we. The cooking was excellent and the menu offered a really nice range. Especially the starters where there were nibbles and sharing plates as well as starters offering lots of combinations. Really nice feel to the place too,

We were trying to find a good local place for lunch, we booked ahead of time & were pleasantly surprised to find smiling helpful staff, great food & surroundings, all for a great price. Have been told that their steaks are great. Booked again to repeat the experience with our friends

We booked the whole place for our private event so a special situation but everybody has been so positive about the quality of food and service that I am certain our review would be helpful to anybody considering a visit. Nicky Kong who managed everything for us is a star 😀

This little gem was a lucky discovery when trying to find a hotel in Lancaster, they were all (luckily) full for the night I needed, and were not missed. This stands only a mile or so from the M6 on the busy but not impossible main road to Skipton. The hotel itself is inviting, well decorated and furnished, and famed...
