My fiance and I loved our experience with Maniti. The 4D/3N stay was the perfect amount of time to spend there. The tour guides were very knowledgable and spoke english well. They maintained a very relaxed atmosphere, making sure to regularly speak with us directly about which activities we wanted to do each day. Edwin is awesome! The food was...

We were looking for a real adventure in the Amazonian forest and we got it. We hate amazionian food all the time, made severals excursions with an experienced guide and got to meet Amazonians. Due to the bad weather, the organisation was able to modify the tour so we could see and do the activities planned.

The guides are absolutely the best part of this adventure - we had Ascuco and Edwin, but we got to know the other guides (Rene, Homer, etc.) a bit as well while we were there. They LOVE their jungle; a lot of them were born there and they get so excited showing it off. I'm sure they do each of...

Booked the 3 day/2 night excursion. It included airport pickup but when I arrived nobody was there. Thankfully I speak Spanish and found someone who called the agency who authorized a private taxi to take me to their office where the driver was reimbursed. Overall the experience was nice. The guide, Homer, was very knowledgeable and funny, and made the...

Nice time overall. Our guide was great. The sites were fun. The kitchen staff were kind and thoughtful. Just be aware that your malaria pills might make you sick. We were sick most of the time so it really affected the trip. Add the heat and humidity on top of all that and you might feel sick the whole time.

When I first arrived at the office in the town of Iquitos I was a little skeptical about what I signed up for. The manager at the office was requesting a cash payment instead of card even though on my email confirmation it said you could pay in cash or credit. He was insisting I go to the ATM to...

We did the 5 day 4 night Jungle Explorer tour at the Eco Lodge. My number one tip is to ask them to ship in plenty of bottled water for you instead of relying on the treated camp water! When we showed up in Iquitos, a driver met us at the airport and saved us from the ravenous taxi drivers...

Thank you for taking the time to write us a wonderful review. All of our water at the camp is bottled, it is not treated. We have a machine that holds 5 gallon jugs of water available at all times to our guests! It is our priority to be flexible with all of our guests and not stick to the...

While aspects of our trip into the Amazon Jungle for Iquitos with Maniti were good, the price charged is far too high for what the customer receives. We paid over $400 each for a 4d/3n trip and even though the lodge is in the middle of the jungle, for this price I expected nice accommodation. What we arrived to was...

This is a fairly no frills Amazon experience. But then again, you are in the middle of a jungle so what Maniti has carved out is an accomplishment. We had decent accommodations and facilities, pretty good food, and people who were hard working and nice. Always great meeting fellow travelers...Our guide was extremely knowledgeably although not a friendly type. We...

I took the 2 day/1 night Jungle Adventure Expedition with Maniti. Overall, my first exposure to the Amazon was what I expected and pretty amazing. It’s beautiful, hot, humid, wild and unlike any place I have been before. My review will be rather detailed as when I research the reviews, I really appreciate the detailed ones to learn as much...
