Just had a fantastic stay at Pen Derw. Its is the loveliest place to stay. So gorgeous, comfortable and relaxing. The perfect place to stay. Our rooms (we took father-in-law) were beautiful and just so comfy. We had tea in a local pub (New Inn), great food. The lounge at Pen Derw was really nice and comfortable. Great views of...

Stayed here for 2 nights in November for a family wedding at Lake Vyrnwy. It was a wonderful stay and we were made to feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Val & Mike were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - including dropping us off to collect our car at the wedding venue the following...

Lovely hosts Mike & Val make you feel so welcome at the same time give you all the privacy. Wonderful breakfast and cakes freshly made with local ingredients. Small village with two pubs with good selection of drinks and food, located in the Welsh lake district with plenty of walks.

I travel the world as a consultant and very rarely do you find such high levels of service, comfort, and hospitality, which have made our whole...

Lovely, comfortable kingsize bed and room. Lounge/breakfast room was pleasant. Mike and Val were very friendly and I'd recommend the Welsh breakfast especially the black pudding. The ensuite bathroom was of very high standard and I particularly liked the walk-in shower (and the cake!)

What a find. Me and my brother stopped here for the wales rally. We could not fault it. We had a great welcome. As we would be leaving in the early hours we asked if we could have a packed lunch instead of breakfast, what a nice packed lunch we were given. The rooms are spacious and the decor is...

Stopped here whilst marshaling on rally gb. Made realy welcome. Rooms are well equiped and finished to a high standard. Great on suite shower which was welcome after a day on stage. Had to be out too early to sample breakfast but our hosts insisted on supplying us with a huge packed lunch. We'll definatly be back.
